We got some of your dampness over here HF.

One was going to walk into town but that plan is now cancelled and have issued v2.0 of the plan which now states "Stay in and drink tea".

Nigella has a large collection of what I suspect to be silicone under that dress. I find her quite unappealing.
Wrong my friend. They’re real! 😜

Morning folks, usual weather. Lunch in solar oven which is showing 125 degs. At last we seem to have the pool sorted out. No sand from the bottom of the lagoon in there just sand that has blown in. Another cow stuck in the mud yesterday but it got out in the end. There is a lake to the SW of us which is a disaster area: https://www.mmegi.bw/index.php?aid=8245 ... /august/31

And, Capt please explain how you know. Has one done the grope test? Did she cook you dinner?

Posh totty with real breasts. Not bad.

Morning all,
Same blue however to the North there is some cloud over the mountains, it's very high, thin and a long way away.

SM is off to the Ambulatario to have her wound looked at Nursey told her that would be her location this AM.

One had a dog induced fall last night :

Not quite Nigella but a nice nip nonetheless.

Bit of pool cleaning, ritual and GP methinks.

There is a fake breast recognition guide but I don't have an electronic copy of it. I actually carry one on my head but I need to complete the knowledge with some field work.

They can't be genuine photos. Or maybe Dad took them. He was pretty good at enlarging the figures.

Jolly warm, slight wind but it is like a hairdryer. Pre-lunch scotch in the pool.

W@nker tourist company boat going up and down. It is the only water for miles around so they have moved the boats to here. Hippos are only just under water. They are going to get very aggressive. Hope they take the boat out. They were grumping all night right outside our bedroom.

Sister finally died yesterday, she beat the dementia but succumbed to an aggressive liver cancer, three weeks from diagnose to finish. I told her yesterday that it was the 75th commemoration of Arnhem Day and wonder if that decided her that it was time. Her late husband was in the Airborne and was captured on the Bridge, he always said he was lucky he was captured by the Wehrmacht and went to a prison camp some of his mates were captured by the ss and shot.
May she rest in peace and condolences to you.

Planted an Apple tree today. Two days to dig the hole. Needed a spade to remove the turf then a trowel, hammer and chisel, and removed a little bit of soil and a lot of limestone. Yesterday got the hole down about 12 inches. The problem with living on limestone?

Today continued just like archaeologists, scrape, remove, chisel, remove stone etc and really getting down to a bloody cement bag left by the builder about 18 inches down. Then I was able to get a spade in and turn over soil.

Every time we dig a hole it is a journey into the unknown.

Here it is just sand or diamonds. So far only sand.

It's been a dull, sometimes wet, and unusually dark day here, very little or no reason to go outside until just now when I heard something.
Wandering into the front garden I was confronted with a sky full of geese heading south-west, probably towards the Southport area. I reckon that there were at least 3000 birds, probably more, I counted over 20 skeins; as some disappeared over one horizon, more appeared over the other and the noise of them calling to each other was deafening.

Sometimes Nature has a way of brightening up the most mundane of days. :-bd

Must check passport renewal. It runs out in June, but we're off to Costa Rica in February, and I don't know whether they (as do the US) insist on a few month's validity from the date of arrival.

Tea was a nice pot roast pork loin in a sage and cider gravy. Cabbage and baby spuds. The leftover cider awaits consumption.
