DC2, I think. There used to be one at an aircraft 'museum' (junkyard) at Bankstown about 50 years ago.

Once again you have triumphed om. I enlarged the image you posted and saw the Italian logo, cheated with a book and came up with this...

The marker is still yours.

Tis indeed, mind you I want people to find them John, ultimately the effort of searching makes it worth it. A little more about the Bosbok here!

I am stumped by your offering John. Suffice it to say it looks like a hybrid F16 homebuilt! ;)

Caco, my little beauty is a serious development for a jet trainer and was built mostly with carbon fibre.

John, my interest is piqued. What are you going to use to power your little rocket ship? A Williams F107 turbojet? That looks like it may be a very demanding aircraft to flight test! Have you got yourself a test pilot or are you going to do it yourself? ;)

Anyway as you have not posted another aircraft I shall do so. Once again, I am not too fussed if people Google it.

Could be, but not sure, a Lockheed Ventura bomber

Funnily enough I was tempted to post the Lockheed Ventura and can see where you are coming from Ex-Ascot but no it is not! It is or rather was a bomber and you are right there.

Something embarrassingly French I should think.

But ze aircraft is so sophisticated mon ami. Regardez les ailes d'avions. C'etait magnifique! ^:)^

Oh well you were a little more complimentary than one of the first SAAF pilots who went to France to fly the Mirage and who upon landing is reputed to have said "the brakes is *****" and went off for a beer! ;)
