On a more humourous note, wouldn't the heat in Phoenix buckle vinyl. I bought my Kimberley based girlfriend, now my ex-wife, a vinyl copy of America"s Greatest Hits and hitched up to deliver it. Sadly it had literally melted en route!

I had not heard of this shop.
I will check it out the next time I am in the neighborhood. Not that far away but not a special trip.
I still have almost all of the vinyl that I have ever owned (~6 produce crates' worth), much of it from a similar store in Tucson, that I would visit on escapes from flight school. It was a huge store, probably started life as a grocery of furniture store.
Most of my vinyl that had real significance has been purchased again as CDs and much more has been ripped into iTunes. There are still a few vinyls. demos and such, that will never be on CD that I must digitize.
I have the turntable for that purpose but it is still in its box. Major effort to set it up and connect to computer.

If this Lithuanian guy was a sub-standard English bastard, I would kill him if he came near my wife, let alone my daughters, but he is clearly for real... an asset to humanity!
