Well, almost a week has elapsed and no-one has posted so I will.
This is a very famous 'castle' from an unusual angle.

Aha, got a clue from the "boring & pointless" thread-----I do believe this is about 10 miles and a walk at low time from Helston..... St. Michaels Mount maybe.....?

The gnomes are correct, it is St Michael's Mount but looking at the house from the seaward side. Well worked out G-Man, Mrs S and I went across to the Mount the day before visiting Helston for Flora Day.

But I expect it's off the coast of Thailand...
Thailand yes, but thinking this needs to be more precise...it is a famous location.
