Heard the same on the Idiot Box News this evening Fliegs. Whoever thought that one up has far too much time on their hands, methinks.
Suspect however, that this suggestion will be ridiculed in much the same manner as was the suggestion by that Greenie Shiela that the Mice that are plaguing parts of NSW should not be killed but captured alive and relocated elsewhere.

Yeah! HA ha!....to her cupboard / knicker drawer....they really are next level idiots, and almost certainly have never set foot in 'Rural' Australia...Greenie Shiela that the Mice that are plaguing parts of NSW should not be killed but captured alive and relocated elsewhere
Re: Rant of the Day v2.
I'd relocate them to a confined space with a bored/hungry cat and let nature take its course. One of ours used to catch live mice and go play with them in the shower because somehow she'd figured out they couldn't escape the tray.

Re: Rant of the Day v2.
Given the sheer number of mice in the plague (a few hundred million) the confined space would have to be somewhat large.I'd relocate them to a confined space with a bored/hungry cat and let nature take its course.

If the baggage hall had been designed with a safe walking route in the first place, this accident would never have happened, we complained about it before the terminal even opened, but there was no budget for it

Spend 1.8 million pounds pufting up the centre of Grimsby around the Minster and then the chavs turned up, to be expected in GY I suppose more than our fair share of low life.

We had a similar event regarding trees planted in memory of those who died from Coronavirus.

Woody, while waiting for my 747 to load a member of the ground staff at FfaM Germany told me how many people were injured each year at that airport by moving devices from baggage carts to steps to bowsers to aircraft. I was horrified.

Then there’s the appalling air quality, noise etc!
One of my Union reps reckoned that he had his own car parking space at the local crematorium

Re: Rant of the Day v2.
Our fixed rate energy tariff ended 30th June. We had arranged for a smart meter installation on the 18th. They cancelled on us and gave us a new date of the 24th which was not suitable. We changed supplier on the 24th.
The fitter from Scottish Power arrived today, installed new meters but they dina work as we had changed suppliers. Scottish Power has been ringing us every day to confirm the appointment and never worked out we were not their customer.

Sticking with our conventional meter. Have told e-on to go forth etc, several times. If I want to save electricity, I switch stuff off.
It's always my fault - SWMBO

In doing some research on one of the historical periods which interest me, I see those woke bastards on Wikipedia now call the Indian Mutiny the "Indian Revolution". No it wasn't. It was a mutiny of the enlisted sepoys and native officers against the British officers (and their wives and children) and took place largely within the military.

Re: Rant of the Day v2.
Honda design ?
Honda Accord Euro - Just had a problem with the two interior lights above the rear view mirror in the front of the car. Couldn’t believe that both bulbs had failed at the same time, so assumed a switch / connection/ fuse problem ? Two fuse boxes, the easily accessed engine compartment one didn’t hold the relevant fuse, this being situated on the outside wall of the passenger footwell, near the floor, only accessible if kneeling on hard concrete outside and bending upside down whilst holding mirror and inspection lamp, albeit being broad daylight, and subsequent extraction of the fuse itself failed to behave as designed when using the Honda provided little extracting tool. By employing my third hand and arm and a pair of very slender needle nose pliers I was able to ascertain that the fuse hadn’t blown. I won’t waste any more time explaining how I was, eventually, able to re-insert the fuse and replace the box cover, but good job I didn’t have an appointment to meet. Well done Honda. Maybe this is why their agents charge so much to perform what should be simple tasks ?
The next suggestion in “The Book” was to prise the covers off to replace the bulbs – both of them ? Thin plastic ? However, as soon as I approached the left hand light with a prising tool, both lights gave in and illuminated. Curiouser and curiouser, said Alice.
Can’t blame Bill Gates for this one.

Would an earth wire work on Mars? I think we need to keep our feet and our electrical circuits grounded.
