That is expensive. I bought a couple of full size bet hammocks back in the 90s, $5.50. All I need is a tree with a strong branch or two trees.

Re: Friday Jokes
Bristolians still having problems with their 'L's!! Ask one to say "Eva Turner Opera Company" and you may well get back "Eval Turnal Operal Company".
I remember the street interviews as a funny segment from the 'Tonight' programme on BBC - Cliff Michelmore and co.
Brilliant mistake - I wonder if the printers will pay for the re-print?

Yes I suspect you’re right C16 - I don’t suppose it would have got past the advertising people or whoever maintains the posters otherwise.
A friend in Gloucester once showed me a cutting from a local paper where a typesetter, on his last day after getting his cards, had deliberately put something very vulgar in an advert to embarrass his shortly to be ex employers.

Which was one reason that it became the practice to escort employees off the premises and require them to serve their notice in absentia.

Re: Friday Jokes
There is a darker red band dropping through the letters. The band is slightly cutaway where the L would have been.

A practice that the RAF never adopted not realising the malignant influence that resulted.
I will continue this on the military thread under PVR.

Re: Friday Jokes
Fact, even if it is grammatically incorrect. Probably American.
'Yes, Madam, I am drunk, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly.' Sir Winston Churchill.
