Sitting here high on endorphins...
Can't even feel my shoulder...

Re: Handsfree's 'It's Friday Thread'
Across the big bridge again today from Lincolnshire to visit the Yorkies and have a fancy lunch with 1DC's cousin. Hopefully Saturday will be quiet and daughter comes for lunch on Sunday before the neighbours dog visits for a couple of days.

Today's fun task is to head down to Hemel Snow Centre for another hour on their indoor ski slope.

Re: Handsfree's 'It's Friday Thread'
Worked all morning, thought I'd have a break this afternoon, but after a while thought I'd do a little more. Broke a scrollsaw blade, fitted another and it broke immediately. Returned to original plan, via bottle shop.

Waiting for the second wind of the week, due about 1400. Chap was coming to regravel the drive but has postponed to next week. Bit of a confrontation because the next delivery from mr T.esco has been written in the diary for the wrong day, causing a clash with a lunch appointment. Apparently it was clearly my handwriting so took the boll licking for the sake of peace and quiet.

Just recovering from the town day yesterday and wondering what to do with the BBQ we won. Usual weekend. Beers at the safari camp. After the carry on last weekend they say that they will not take locals from town anymore. They often say this but now they are back on half pay they may be able to avoid it.

Usual w/e. Safari camp for a few beers. Weather looks good for a cruise on Sunday if we can get through the weeds. And, shouting at the booze cruise boat. It is going to be a bad w/e it is payday today.

Local Mercadonna closed, we discovered, because it's Carnival today in Roses. Idiots. Back to Empuriabrava where Carnival is on a different day and Mercadonna open. Full of French. We really should have facilities here from which French are excluded.

Re: Handsfree's 'It's Friday Thread'
Quiet day today, brilliant sunshine on the Humber.Been instructed that we are to go to Lidl's for something, definitely won't be any french.Figuring out how to incorporate a coffee and a bacon sandwich into the venture. Son in Law going on a works pu tonight in Grimsby so daughter is coming to visit. She will take him and then pick him up when he is legless and take him back to Hull, He doesn't hold his booze very well the poor lad.So far nothing planned for the weekend but if the weather stays like this I can see a trip to deep seaside Lincolnshire being suggested for a walk along the coast.

Nice sunshine here as well. Spent half an hour picking up twigs and branches that blew off one of the ash trees in the garden. May fire up the chain saw tomorrow and convert the branches into suitable sized pieces for the multi-fuel stove. Should have been golf tomorrow morning but there is a buggy and trolley ban due to the recent rain and I don't feel up to carrying my bag these days, particularly as eldest son has 'borrowed' my carry bag and not returned it yet.

Friday and trying to get washing dry, rain both heavy and light has been a feature of the last two weeks with the sun making an appearance measured at

A friend of mine recently had his product line picked up by them---please buy, as I am an investor in his company, (he used to fly for me). You will see my name on one of his vats at time 1:03: It is in English once he starts talking....
As for the weekend, I finally have my first day off in 13 days so no doubt I will sit on a sail boat and drink copious amounts of beer.
Life may not be the party you hoped for, but while you're here, you may as well dance.

After you've had a beer vat named after you, its all down hill.

Had the Pfizer booster jab yesterday. About 6 hours later suddenly felt tired and somewhat 'flat.'
This morning a sore arm and couldn't really be bothered doing anything much at all!
