Good day all.

Taken son to Pablo's and managed to avoid a police road block by using the old route to the airport. Chaos it were.
After dropping son off, took Ed for a walk on paseo where we encounter a loony frog couple and their four greyhounds.

No muzzles on dogs who were looking to go for any other dog close to them. If they had come near us, would have just phoned the plod.
Fortunately they decided that taking their dogs on the paseo was not a good idea, as they were struggling to control them. So they went back to their vehicle............a Mr Whippy van sized motor home. Bit small and obviously smelly with two humans and four large canines in there......but they were frogs.

Builders have arrived this morning to rearrange the back garden, new decking, gate, was planning to have a new man cave, but after consultations with senior management an alternative plan to convert the brick built shed and just put in a small timber shed for garden implements has been agreed on. :D
When all else fails, read the instructions.

The frogs have returned from their hike. Obviously didn't make destination. 5 yr old child crawling around the taverna with a dummy in it's gob. These people should not be allowed out of frog land.

I'm surprised you have any frogs down there, or over there to our south-east. Thought the entire gaul country had emptied itself into N E Spain. They are everywhere here, provoking accidents by turning left at roundabouts on the outside lane, never glancing in mirror, never signalling and totally confused in Spanish supermarkets by Spanish money. Just how many more of the blighters are there !

Hoying it doon here. Me lock restoration site resembled a cricket pitch today - rain stopped play. Clarts everywhere. Only frog to be seen was one of them amphibians what croak.

Our Canadian helper has departed back Saskatchewan; he intends to fly to Toronto and drive the rest of the way. We wished him a safe journey.

We have the Greek equivalent to a Whiskey Galore situation here in the village. We have run out of cigarettes. They are trying to smoke newspapers.

Raki time with no cigarette smoke around. :-bd Not a tourist in sight. Our table vacated by the owner who was keeping my seat warm.

That is a looong drive to Saskatchewan from Trono; I've done it a few times. Hope he doesn't drive it at night. Every time I've seen somebody that's hit some serious fauna at night. Even had to stop for a bear once in daylight, in the middle of the Trans Canada Highway.

Similar wetness here 4mastacker. It's coming down by the bucketful.
We're having a new patio built around the back which is starting to resemble a replay of the Somme battles.
The newly dug footings are beginning to fill up to moat standard.

Hi de HI,
Been a beautiful, if windy, day.
Had to go find a low tog duvet for SM this morning which compromised my morning.
This afternoon I been mostly clearing Donkey *****, Paco's donkeys got on my land and Henry in particular has a taste for it, although Punto will if pushed, starting out being dumped with them.

Hey Ho

Capt why are these chaps not tested for brain cells by the airline before spending money to train them? Surely there is a selection process. Mind you we did have a guy who got almost inverted in a Jetstream IMC EFATO and not a SIM. Think he was a nav. Went back to be a nav.
Sometimes money and influence can substitute for brain cells.

Wet and windy weather has precluded allotmenteering and motorcycling, passed the time by decorating the downstairs loo. All week is set to be miserable, village fete on Saturday, hope to win a teddy bear at the raffle, it will give Misty pleasure to disembowel something new.

Wodrick, would be obliged if you could spare the donkey droppings for my roses, they at least are enjoying the rain.

So two ops-normallers have garden work started on the same day and the heavens open , it’s a sign :ymdevil:

Cut, wrapped and stacked 435 tonnes of sileage today before rain stopped play. #:-S

Not a bad day's work for just two people (+Mr J Deere of course).

I know it's a long way to come but I can direct you to several tons of Donkey and Horse droppings. Bring a van :)

It was just a slowly passing towering Cu dumping its guts. It'll pass.

I'll gather the remaining tractor eggs tomorrow and stack 'em with the rest. They're well bagged and won't get wet now.

My white day-slave gave me a bottle of Wódka Żołądkowa Gorzka. Actually, I was going to give him a bottle of The Macallan, but he seems to think that it was me doing him a favour by giving him a very well paid day's work with a couple of hours off at the end of the day and a promise of a very good reference locally. I'll give him the Scotch another time.

Never tasted, or even heard of, this stuff before. It really is very nice, neat. A bit sweet for my taste, but very nice and does not need any tonic or anything. I'll put the bottle in the deep-freeze for an hour or three to take the sugariness off its taste.

We had our (extreme) wetness Friday night and Saturday until late afternoon.
Sunday was fine with sunny spells all day and today has been warm and sunny all day - not a drop of wetness - I have been out-of-doors all day every day (Friday. Saturday, Sunday and today).
I got extremely and thoroughly soaked on Saturday.

The West Somerset Railway hasn't quite worked out what happens when you put coal on a steam loco's fire.
