Beautiful didgeridoo players; why do both these young ladies have .22 bullet entry wounds on their foreheads?
Is it possible that playing their drainpipes at 0300 local time has infuriated the local sleepers?
I think we should be told... :-?

Long long ago the manager of a NASA TT&C satellite station was aghast when a truck pulled up with 2,000 eight packs of toilet paper. Frantically checking his purchase order he saw his mistake. One comma omitted. No, we did not want 'em.

the opportunity to have lunch at the RSA,
The best thing that my BiL did from me in NZ was introduce me to the RSA!

I fortunately had mt RAFA membership card with me, and visited many branches for eating and drinking!

One of the nicest was in Christchurch, wonderful murals, but I believe it was a victim of the big earthquake.

1968 RCA released their new aircraft nav and comm receivers AVC110 and AVN110. My boss ordered a couple of hundred super glossy brochures for Farnborough. 'Cept LA sent a couple of hundred packs of twenty. Too expensive to ship them back, so I was volunteered to dispose of them by giving them away to all the snotty nosed little brats who on the public's day went around collecting brochures.

Well, worth a thought... :-?
Omg, but imagine it actually happen :).
I've almost sat into a wrong car once, which was embarrassing enough? (noticed there was a wrong person at the wheel; now, had he worn a face mask...?)

Once, 35 years ago, ordered 8 metres of DPC polythene sheet. I wasn't there when it was delivered. Got home and found 8 rolls, I could hardly lift them.

I put 7 in the back of my Fiesta, say on its springs. 'Ah, wondered what had happened to them.'

I still have a few metres left.

Just heard today that a hospital Doctor friend of the family who works in London has Covid-19 but is in the latter stages of beating it and she should be fine in a few days. This poem by Matt Kelly has been on Youtube for about a week so apologies if it has been posted somewhere here already. It is perhaps a bit premature in some of its wording but even so it is very, very, moving.....

‘Island groups should trial coronavirus exit strategy,’ according to leading professor. So we are to be guinea-pigs? I don't think so!
And that moron Hancock should sack a few NHS managers if they are telling him that lack of testing is down to “not enough demand”

Been shopping. 1st time in 3 weeks.

Entry to the supermarket controlled, queue well spaced out. Before entry were sanitised.
A separate empty queue for pensioners, which we didn't see until we reached the front of the regular queue.
Plenty of everything that we wanted, except liqueur store closed :-q :((
Filled the trolley and still had items on the shopping list, so now we are familiar with the routine, we will go again tomorrow.

I'll be glad when this lockdown finishes. I will be able to sober up.

Yes. Drastic rise in alcohol intake (mostly wine). :YMPARTY:
Fortunately, liquor stores and grocery stores deemed essential here. :YMAPPLAUSE:
They all say that their sales are up quite a bit.
Strangely, not expanding drinking hours, just drinking at a higher rate. Couldn't afford doing both. :))

I have, this evening, been informed of the death of an old friend, with whom I have not been in proximal contact for over a year, has died while suffering symptoms which are akin to those of the virus.

That's as close as I want get, personally, to this schitt.

My wife is enjoying the quiet life so much that she is reckoning to continuing it after the "All clear" has been sounded. I must admit that I am getting more work done in the day with no interruptions.

This whole polythene sheet saga has got into my subconscious and I awoke to find myself wondering whether the 8 rolls, discovered back at home, were each also 8 metres long, therefore leaving Pontius Navigator with 9 x 8 = 72 metres! What did he do with his 72 metres of DPC polythene sheet in the ensuing years, assuming (very crudely and probably erroneously) that he used less than 2.06 metres per annum. Did PN return the 7 rolls? Was Pam involved in the use thereof, and what of the Fiesta springs? Was any of the polythene used to fix the bathroom window after Pam came though it? Why didn't PN tell her, and what of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday?

So many questions, so few answers, so much Covid-19, so little time! ;)))
