Me, #3 bubby and the Rivetess in the background. Well, it made Juud laugh when it was taken about 9 years ago.

Probes you're supposed to have wings if you want to do things like that. Scary.

From last Sunday.

The wily veteran flight lead, Jude, is at the higher altitude.
The fledgling, Tommy, is the low man (actually female).

They are simply waiting for me to take too long between breathes and I'm convinced they'll have at me...
What's his plan? A Russian doesn't take a dump without a plan.

It's a 1956 Jodel D119. The ultimate French training aircraft - if it were any simpler it wouldn't fly. Suits me perfectly :)

No flaps, not much in the way of instruments, and a VSI out of an ME109.

flynverted, I did the initial GPS installs on all the RFDS Kingairs in FNQ, back in 1996/7. My software company wasn't doing too well, so went back to fixing aeries on a casual basis. The mob I was working for had lots of box-pullers, but no one with the nouse to do all the interfacing to the AP and Instruments. Wouldn't mind being up there now, 'cos it's bloody cold South of Melbourne.
