Funny because I call Jude "my faithful gun dog..."

Brick, those glasses give it away. You ain't flying this baby.
Because they stand on the wall and say "nothing's gonna hurt you tonight, not on my watch".

That and it being a wood mock-up vendor's display.

The late Mrs R and myself on our wedding day in 1975. It was very, very cold and snowed an hour later.
The photographs is black & white thanks to my grandmother's generous offer to pay for the wedding photographs. When I mentioned the lack of colour she said "Do you know how much he wanted to charge for colour!".

Lovely picture Ricardian. Nice to finally put a face to the name. Was that taken where you live now?

Limeygal - no, we were married at St John's Methodist chapel in the village of Hayfield, Derbyshire where I was brought up by my grandparents. At the time we lived in Stoke-on-Trent but soon moved to Brora (Sutherland) then Scarborough, to Cheltenham and back to Scarborough for my last 4 years in the Civil Service.
Here's the last photo of Mrs R & myself (with our cat, Surrey) taken a couple of years ago.

Ricardian,

Beautiful at the beginning and the end. You had the best the world can give us - the enduring love of our partners. All the best to you.

Ricardian, wot Ben said.

Another oldie, from 20 years ago. Pic was taken the day our Gulfstream was sold, hence the hastily-applied American registration.

Yours Truly in a happier time. Taken about 10 years ago.

Be very careful about making statements like that (true as they may be).

If you don't know why, google 'Charlotte Proudman'.

Never heard of her until I googled her name as you suggested. What can I say? There's one in every crowd.
