Re: Absent Friends
Don't thinks so Wodders, 'er indoors is active and so has Reddo recently.
OK so we think that we can access a mobile phone from a corpse. Now in our case how can you get a computer password from a dead publisher?

Re: Absent Friends
Well, we have a definitely male-dominated site here, so little surprise the ladies are a bit quieter.
Alison - why not a 'ladies corner' here where the fairer sex can discuss pertinent matters?

Re: Absent Friends
How do you know there isn't already one? They could all be on it, sworn to secrecy and laughing at us.

Oh God! I hadn't thought of that! There goes another night's sleep.

Re: Absent Friends
What about Agony Aunt located within these hallowed portals?
“By popular request, mod’d by the girls”?
“Making a pass” might be a good one to populate, then the species specific comms difficulties between the lads & lasses might get an airing and confusions resolved therein?

Re: Absent Friends
I don't see any reason that the ladies would avoid us, other than we might be rather boring. I do miss Slasher, I was hoping that it was just a storm in a D cup.

Yes, but unfortunately he ripped it off so an apology won't wash.

What is missing most is the Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand input. I see Singapore is being fingered as a major infection hub for Covid was a result of that major conference last month.

More like a Z cup. There is no way he will be back. Shame, but that is fact.
Not sure about Sizemen. I think a bit of a misunderstanding there.

Re: Absent Friends
Alison didn't explain that one but he is certainly terminated rather than suspended.
Re: Absent Friends
I miss Caco with his tales of derring-do in whirly-birds and his interest in aviation (less, I confess, his bombardment with music clips....). Following his 'ripples' with Alison last March, he promised "I shall not be returning this time in any shape or form". Whilst I know his spirit never-the-less lingers on here, the stories are absent. If any of our Ouija-boarders here are 'in touch' with his heavenly self, perhaps they could ask - did he ever solo? I cannot recall. C16 - I believe you have met with his earthly entity? Any 'close encounters' of the Caco kind?
Re: Absent Friends
Quite a few players of WOE have drifted off, Stu, wings folded, even the rather unconventional posters like K&C and Tom Jode had some sort of input, the site has definitely shrunk which is a shame, I notice sidevalve has joined but has not yet joined in, welcome to him anyway, I had quite a long communication with him on TOP to our mutual satisfaction.
We have to have a few off the wall members to keep things lively, I shall periodically post photos of well endowed young ladies to keep the spirit of Slasher alive and with us.

Re: Absent Friends
Worth observing that K&C was effectively 'driven off' by the 'anti-left wing' members (the majority) who did not want that input.
Re: Absent Friends
I'm not 'anti-left wing' provided that the left wingers can provide cogent and reasonable arguments to support their views. What I am 'anti' is people with no views of their own and whose arguments consist of posting links from the left-wing media accompanied by sneering put downs and childish 'ad hominem' attacks.

Re: Absent Friends
BOAC, I think not so much as driven off, far too thick skinned for that, but starved of oxygen. In TOP he certainly annoys and some have him on ignore but enough take the bait.
Re: Absent Friends
I tend to agree with Capes here, it wasn't quite so much the unpalatable political opinions but the rather personnel comments that irritated, didn't K&C get a modest ban and just didn't come back? Pity all the same I suppose.
For Slasher.
For Slasher.

That would be tea with milk then?
