Re: Absent Friends
Is that the same guy who went by the pseudonym Nervous SLF ?
If so he resigned from a our group a while back having decided he was no longer nervous.

I don't think it is Nervous SLF, as he posted on TOP on 2nd June.

Re: Absent Friends
Oh dear. This is not only a year in which celebs have been dying all over the place, it's been a terrible year for our virtual friends.
Dreadful.
Dreadful.
All generalisations are false, including this one.

Re: Absent Friends
CoffmanStarter is commemorated in. TOP with the Caption Competition in the Mi! Section
Re: Absent Friends
Sad to hear about Coffman PN. His user name always reminded me of the times I got to play with Canberras, Hunters, and the venerable Chippie. All of which IIRC used cartridge starts. RIP Coffmanstarter, you'll be missed.

Sad news indeed, I had a few exchanges with Coffman on TOP, generally he helped me out with some technical knowledge. I always found him to be polite and good natured, I bet one of life's true gentlemen. He will indeed be missed on the Mil forum, RIP Coffmanstarter, thanks for your help and kind words.

The Hunters I worked on all used Avpin.

Re: Absent Friends
Must admit Ian, my knowledge wasn't all that intimate, all I ever use to hear was the loud bang. Tried not to get up too close. Believed most starts were the compliments of Mr Coffmanstarter.
