Re: Birthdays
Thanks for the greetings, yes, I was aware of the number 8 being lucky in Chinese culture, secured xxx xxx 888 as our present landline number some years ago. In Singapore I sold a car with an 8 in the numbers, and the remainder added up to 16, so I advertised it as a lucky triple 8. Not sure if that helped but I got my advertised price fairly quickly. Now 88 must mean a doubly lucky year ! Time will tell.
Not sure if it will help to remember in years to come, of the time that the Queen died, ( more accurately the date that the King was proclaimed In NZ ) but it helps remember the 9/11 disaster in New York ! Best to keep away from me I guess ?
Some Bingo calls for 88 is "Two Fat Ladies" !

Yes Happies to you Fox3.
Re: Birthdays
Might be a repeat - or the previous one disappeared.
Happy Birthday, Fox - and thanks for your updates on Ukraine - my son shares my interest there.

Re: Birthdays
Many thanks all,
surprised but glad I made it this far!
Have been shifting heavy stuff all morning, as we are now forecast to get a visit from Hurricane Fiona on Saturday.

Again, my thanks.
After a hard morning, I have got myself outside some fine vittles, and there is Moet in the fridge for this evening.

Re: Birthdays
Fox3, sorry I missed your Birthday, better late than never, so a belated Happy Birthday. I also agree that your UKE reports are more informative than the
local rags that purport to be newspapers.

You're very kind, and it's still my birthday by my watch, so you made it!
As to the reporting, I hope it saves everyone some time.

Many thanks, still have all own teeth, hair and bodily parts attached.
Off to whittle down some more non-performing brain cells, with champagne and a curry.
