Tony

You should be able to work out exactly where it will rise.

It is listed somewhere.

Thanks for the good wishes for Mrs IB.

Usual Helicopters Sanitarios UVI and crew arrived. Excellent on the spot diagnosis and treatment with pain killer and antibiotic administered by drip.

Then I got dispatched to find duty Domingo farmacia, with scrip for pain killer and antibiotic pills. Mrs IB now much rested and has just gone to bed.

I have GP appointment just before midday manana,so will take paperwork for Mrs IB with me.

Going to watch MOTD2 whilst she nods off, then I'm off to mi pit.

Morning all, looks like being another fine day, so there is still hope that some of my figs will ripen next month.

Morning all. Hope Mrs Ibbie is a bit better this morning.

Have two very happy gardeners here just having had their work hours doubled. Watering is a complete pain and we are just about to plant out loads of veg. Much more work.

Morning folks, Just a quick check-in before an early start at me canal. Weather looks good for today - I shall tempt fate and leave me waterproofs at home. TTFN.

Chilly start here.

Daughter has spent her first weekend at University at home, so have just shoved her on the train to Gillingham! All okay, she was back to say goodbye to a friend off to Uni in Devon!

Morning all.
I hope Mrs Ibbie has passed those stones which feel like bricks. Much sympathy goes her way.

A nice bright start here near Leuchars but I see EMA is blanketed in fog as it often is this time of the year.
For once I'm in the right place.

Missed the lunar eclipse last night as I didn't wake at the required time. I don't suppose it was any much different to last few I saw.

Nothing much planned today apart from a bit of dog walking.

Trabbforce to all who need it v

I have an App on my iPad that shows the sky and where all the stars are. Select Menu/Moons/Earth and you get a red arrow that points in the right direction. Turning the iPad around and tilting it until the arrow disappears and there is your target. Look out of the window and Hey Presto! There she is. A bloody moon.

Mind you, knowing it had to be opposite to the Sun and therefore somewhere over Ellenbrook works just as well. ;)

Missus was unimpressed. 'So, you mean we got up early to see it turn orange?'

Morning folks.

Mrs IB has felt well enough this morning to go off with one of her friends to a coffee morning in support of a local dogs home charity. Says she is back to having a dull ache around the kidneys.

As for me, just checked blood pressure (128/66) and weight (98.2 kg)in view of Friday's specialist claiming that I was 99.5kg and wanted me to shed 1kg in two months for him to do my knee op. Well, over 1kg has gone since Friday ( in under 72 hours), so either his scales were "loaded" or the nursy couldn't use a balance scale, the latter I suspect. Shall demand a recount from the doctor this morning.

If my dad had still been alive,he would be celebrating his 96th birthday today. Although he's been gone 32 years, still miss him and wish I had him to talk to some days.

Just like the FSL, I got up for a widdle at 3am, and wandered out the back door (deliberately, not in my dotage) to see the maximum of the eclipse. I'll be 81 or planted when the next blood moon/supermoon comes around, but again like the FSL I've seen a few eclipses.
