Yes indeed!, Mrs Fliegs and I never tire of one another and Jnr Fliegs is still here which we enjoy. His new Girlfriend is frequently here also and we enjoy her company too. So yeah, happy house!

TPBM is also cursing the horrid 'green brigade' that have allowed (insisted) that back burning not occur now for decades, and now we have this fire situation in Oz!

I'll give this to the Abos, for 10 thousand years they knew how to look after the land, and that included burning off.!, before moving on and eventually coming back to where they started.

True-blooded boongs had extremely high survival skills. Put one out in the middle of the Tanami with nothing but a nulla-nulla and boomerang and he’ll still be going strong 12 months later.

Some ratty hotels have a QR code on the wall for ‘room service’ (aka a fast food delivery tie up). There’s more profit in kickbacks than having a kitchen and cooks armed with Peggy Bundy’s recipe book.

TPBM only needs a double bed, ceiling fan, dunny, and a remote for their hotel requirements, and can safely survive without room services or the in-house porn channel.

Yeah true, I've stayed in some flea pens for sure, but mostly only there to store luggage shower & sleep!

True, one in New York and one in Lyndhurst, South Australia. The one in Lyndhurst later burned down. That would improve the NY one, too.

Not at the moment, but I think I will be when I bugger off home to Thailand in the coming days as I’ve put on ‘a few pounds’ (sounds much lighter than saying kilograms).

No, not for many years no, the last one I had was in a French restaurant in the Blue Mountains. Very bony, I remember an old Greek guy telling me at the end of the War some of them had to eat cat. Rabbbit reminded him of cat

TPBM doesn’t mind dry heat but hates unremitting wet (humid) heat like DRW during the pre-monsoon Sept-Nov months, which causes one to go troppo.

I hate watching sport, so the tennis means nothing to me - it's as boring as watching paint dry.

TPBM's significant other sat up watching the tennis last night till some ridiculous hour, and has been tired and cranky all day.
