Funnily enough, quite the opposite. I used to have an extremely sweet tooth, but now, while I still enjoy sweet tucker, I don't hog into it like I used to.

TPBM Thinks a good salad requires a bit of imagination.

A good salad requires only a small dash of thousand island.

TPBM still has a DVD player attached to the telly.

Yep, they are purely exercises in self-congratulation.

TPBM can't see why we should think that advice from celebrities is more valid than that from experts.

No one in their right mind listens to celebrities. Kids maybe.

TPBM will listen to first hand accounts from local experts rather than whatever the MSM sprukes.

Yes, we have one. She's stomping around her enclosure at the moment. I occasionally let her out but the dogs are fascinated by her and have the strength to propel her several feet.

TPBM had a pet rock as a child.

I did. I painted red eyes on it and called it Hilda (for some reason).

TPBM had a golliwog (as I did, and loved dearly)...

True, but only my sister played with it. Me and my brother kicked it around the backyard as a football. I forget what she called him.

TPBM isn’t getting much sleep these days for no rational explanation.

True, must be my guilty conscience, but I guess my feet hurt less than some who kicked their beloved sis's rock or golliwog, you brutes... =))

TPBM has more than 6 sisters.

Nope. Only one older sister and brother (he died many years ago).

TPBM didn’t have many toys as a kid.

True, I came from a very poor family. Licked motorway clean, and that kind of thing. Managed to win a scholarship to a good school and then university. It has been downhill ever since.

TPBM believes in education and the scientific method...

I believe that the education system here is so full of lefty ***** that there is little time spent on teaching the three R's.giving us a bunch of kids that are no
where as proficient in reading ,spelling and maths as we were.

TPBM likes a bit of a lay in on Sunday mornings.

True, but in all facets of Aviation Sunday morning could feel like tea time on Tuesday.

TPBM loses track of what day it is.

Nope, tomorrow is Sunday. Tomorrow I have to put together an actuarial risk report on some question that is bothering one of my clients. Maths (not left or right) helped me here. I thank my mom (long dead) for pushing me thus.

TPBM loved their Mom, no matter how mad she was...

True. Loved mum. She was the one who really encouraged me in wanting to be a pilot. She also sat in the jumpseat when I did my first line flight as F/O MEL - ADL - MEL on B727-200 VH-TBI (the ADL-MEL leg, then MEL-ADL a week later while I went on to DRW).

She wasn’t mad. A bit crazy but not mad. She thought my pad in MEL was a pig sty (which it was really). She cleaned it up real spick n span. Trouble was I couldn’t find stuff afterwards like my undies under the bed, pilot shirt behind the couch etc. She also thought the hostie GF I was bonking at the time wasn’t my type.

TPBM is a neatness freak.

I am, but life is not neat at all. I have made many messes!

Huh? How would you know if the taste was real??

TPBM likes unusual food, but sees no point in eating wild things for the sake of it.
