Hmm...'Went out with' Mrs Fliegs in High School.....went our sepeate ways for a few years...met up again had a child, bought property, then married and remain so (happily) married ever since....

It's a lovely little 'love story'...

TPBM is also fond of this new trend of oversize Ice cubes in drinks.. :) (I don't 'do' trends, but the oversize ice cubes are great!)

Not sure.

TPBM didn't understand either how big exactly are the 'great oversize ice cubes'? :-o

Never heard of it. I hate too much ice in my drinks anyway.

TPBM knows that putting in too much bloody ice only serves to decrease the liquid product you ordered to begin with. 😠

So you have had a Coke from Micky D ?

TPBM knows that all one needs is a long cold beer on a hot day or a cold day for that matter.

Sure :) - which has made me considered 'weird' in decent companies drinking posh wine, as one should.

TPBM has started saving the world by eating less meat.
(full disclosure: I've done my 2 cents since childhood, just not a great fan of meat anyway)

Nah, a singular block of ice about 1 & 1/4 inch cube, it keeps the drink at a great temp. but does not dilute by very much at all...there is still a large block of ice after you have finished the drink!.....Trust me...I drink enough to know!

TPBM...also thinks the only good snake is a very dead snake!!

TPBY dear will do his bit and try to increase global warming tomorrow by eating more CO2-devouring plants.

Actually Ap is putting me on a rabbit food diet...again! :-w

TPBM believes vegans and all that crazy lot eat plants because secretly they hate the sight of ‘em.

Nah....some 'celebrity' somewhere surely posted a social media thing about being a Vegan, and others followed...

As John Cleese said "If God didn't want us to eat Animals, then he wouldn't have made them out of meat!!"

True on all counts! Can quite easily go through a bag of lollies in a night, if left unsupervised.

TPBM does not feel guilty about eating too many lollies.

False. I gave up candy, sugar and salt in me early 20s. Can’t stand any of ‘em.

TPBM has medical problems primarily caused by sugar.

Untrue, - more like personality problems of weakness of will :(.

TPBM is also indifferent to lollies, but can't resist chocolate.

(P.S. Slash, a comment to a previous post - Stout's Archie Goodwin once admitted one can't have a silver lining without a cloud %%- )

Could never do that - it's the old Empire day...aka cracker night!

TPBM can remember trivial things from 50 years ago, but not what they did yesterday.

Actually yes, but what happened 10-50 years ago surprisingly comes in a sudden flash which I thought was long forgotten. I can remember what happened yesterday but only those events that stand out.

TPBM has a memory like an elephant.

Nah not really, mostly forget stuff...but have recollecttions of events that are crystal clearfrom years ago....

TPBM forgets to take a shopping list and also then forgets things that a shopping list would prevent from missing!!

Nope. I always take a list to go shopping - esp those bloody weird sounding unpronounceable Thai items the wife wants me to get while I’m at the market.

TPBM, upon entering a huge frigging store of sizable acreage, will ask an attendant to guide them directly to the item they want, rather than spend a whole bloody hour hunting for it.

Yeah...I will, look for a bit, then ask, I hate going to the shops...in & out as fast as possible!

TPBM is as exhausted & sunburnt & tired as me?

Yep ,exhausted and tired after washing and polishing the car.

TPBM is looking forward to a couple of weeks of doing nothing.
