TPBM as a pilot is very glad that flight deck visits are no longer allowed as being polite to the visitors was not easy!

FALSE (note capitals!). Pre 9/11 one could invite some very nice honeys sweeties real dolls people to the cockpit and it wasn't hard at all to be a polite and charming perv wolf pilot!

TPBM believes calling it a 'cockpit' (despite its humble origin) is far too chauvinistically male and that 'flight deck' is more appropriate in this PC-riddled day and age.

Hmmm always thought that cockpit was used for roughy toughy planes such as fighters and flight deck for larger planes such as those used for transportation.

TPBM doesn't care what the pointy end of an aeroplane is called as long as the pilot /s are awake /sober /not suicidal /good looking.
