True. Not many will admit to a bloke doing something right.

TPBM hasn't quite accepted the fact everything has to be done online these days with no direct human contact.to sort out the inevitable mess. 🙄

Very true. If Blue Star Ferries website doesn't work (which is most of the time 8-| ) we simply phone the shipping agent in their head office in Athens. Problem sorted in seconds. On one occasion when I couldn't get any sense out of the shipping agents in Athens I phoned our agent on Amorgos and he sorted the mess out in minutes. :-bd

TPBM really doesn't want to get storm bound in Athens. ....or anywhere I suspect. :)

Storms and thunderation are wot Nature invented to help stop the world from overheating. AFAIC they're welcome anywhere anytime 'cept when I got a barby going on out the back.

TPBM has a BBQ out back.

Yep, and it's a most enjoyable way to cook & eat, especially when SWMBO is away and the dog & I can share some kangaroo steaks.

TPBM enjoys cooking on a real fire.

Yep.

TPBM reckons the normal body functions of farting and burping should be socially acceptable in mixed company.

As TPBY (The Person Below You) and given your recent bodily malady, I am wearing a biohazard suit and am carrying an open umbrella! I reckon one should try and cork it in company. I mean I bet you if I was to let go in a cockpit with you, I could force you into abandoning the aicraft without a parachute out of sheer horror and disgust! =))

TPBM loves the smell of lilac on a lady!

I become an instant horndog romancer whenever I sniff Chanel Number 5 on a busty woman. :ymdevil:

TPBM only uses aftershave approved by the other half.

Ex-Ascot only wears aftershave that I approve of . :x

TPBM doesn't need to wear aftershave to attract women! :ymdevil:

Indeed, I find my beard works quite well.

TPBM has never tried to grow a beard.

False. Tried to, but after 2 weeks growing it I felt scungy and bummy, plus I couldn't stop my upper lip from fiddling with the stache. I felt so much better and cleaner after I shaved the lot off.

TPBM hates wearing any form of hat.

No..not especially good...

...can pull off headwear though...AND walk talk & chew gum at the same time!

(Chew gum is figurative as it is a disgusting habit....would rather be near a smoker than a gum chwer! YUK!)

TPBM enjoys being shod in nice footwear!

Depends. If being presented to the Thai king or even Yumlick Shinawatra yes. For everything else no. Sandals suffice.

TPBM hates washing dishes.

No I don't mind washing up, indeed my first part-time lob as a teenager was kitchen slave and washer up in a local bistro. :)

TPBM prefers to cook alone (Greta Garbo style) rather than be hindered helped by anyone else.

For sure. Especially if "that person" is giving me advice. "If you know so much about it, you do it." Same with gardening.

TPBM Enjoys gardening alone.

Nah. I hate gardening period.

TPBM is amazed sometimes of how many of their brain memory neurons are still alive.

Yes. For example I have very clear memories of seeing V1 flying bombs buzzing over our house in Kent, the county where 1,444 of the damned things came down and exploded. To a 5 year old it was an exciting time; I was oblivious to the dangers. Several were being chased by fighters with guns blazing, and even in brilliant summer sunshine the muzzle flashes were visible, and the gunfire rattle was clearly audible above the throaty roaring of the (probably) Merlins. And all that was 75 years ago, but still embedded in my brain memory neurons ...

TPBM would like to strangle the idiot who coined the damnable word "Brexit".

I agree it's an ugly word, and although it probably won't effect me as much as others, the fact is probably as ugly as the word.

TPBM believes words can be beautiful if put in the right order.

True. The Limerick Thread proves that. :)
