Oh well. Let's start anew shall we.

A successful night last by betting against Charlton. Ludicrous odds of 23/20 for a Millwall home win were snapped up by yours truly. A more realistic price would have been 1/2. Charlton are in complete turmoil and it showed in their performance. My son went and said it was one of the most dire efforts he had seen since I started taking him to games in 1999.

It doesn't matter who refs the Palace games, luck is against us at the moment.

What's the odds on Big Sam being at Palace by close of play today angels?.....or even lunch time, given the rush there appears to be to get him in the chair!

Maybe he didn't realise that there's a winter break in France

Mario Balotelli was sent off in stoppage time as nine-man Nice saw their lead at the top of Ligue 1 trimmed to two points heading into the winter break following their goalless draw at Bordeaux.

The former Manchester City and Liverpool striker, recently linked with a return to the Premier League, was sent off in stoppage time for kicking out at Igor Lewczuk while his team-mate Younès Belhanda also saw red moments later.
:-?

Bet I wouldn't have won much, had I invested!

Never mind Clattenburg, where's John Moss? The two worst of the worst are still there though.

Memo to Big Sam.

In the 50 years I've been watching them, Palace have never, ever been able to defend 1-0 leads. They win games by scoring more, not by conceding 10 yards to the opposition and inviting a spot of pressure.

Do not let Benteke take penalties. He is hopeless at them to the extent that if he scores one it is down to luck -- which it shouldn't be from 12 yards. Try Zaha, he has one of the hardest shots in the Premier league. The occasional one may go into Row Z -- by far the majority won't.

When Puncheon is having a stinker, save yourself some trouble and hoik him off at half time. He will not improve in the second (as you saw).

Get our luck changed. Another clear foul on Zaha in the area towards the end, another booking for 'diving' as result. You arsehole Clattenburg.
