Platini had been widely expected to vote for the United States. He confirmed in 2015 that he “might have told” American officials that he would vote for them. However, he appeared to change his mind after a November 2010 meeting, hosted by then-President Nicolas Sarkozy at his official residence in Paris and Qatar’s crown prince, now Emir, Tamin bin Hamad al-Thani.
Ooh, I wonder why?
Qatar has agreed to buy 24 Dassault Aviation-built Rafale fighter jets in a 6.3-billion-euro ($7 billion) deal, the French government said
It is estimated that 1 worker dies per day on the 2022 Qatar World Cup building program. After it was revealed that over 700 had already died, the response was to classify the data. An estimated 4,000 will be dead by the time the tournament commences. Nobody in officialdom anywhere gives a f#ck.

It looks like the chinks have set their sights on Rafa.

Benitez for China?

I 'd rather Rafa stayed and that **** Ashley buggah'd off to China instead.
It's always my fault - SWMBO

I is back. Bad luck Woody your team played well last season. Is McGuire really worth 80-85 million???? See the normal suspects are trying to see if they can get us banned from Europe, the rags spread a lot of rumours about apparently. Still know the will rig it somehow. Is Ole the answer to the rags woes?? I think not somehow. A ridiculous wage for De Gea, still your man who sits on the bench by the name of Sanchez is paid more.
Happy with Man City despite an upset phase over Dec/Jan. We are set hopefully to do it again or second behind the better red team.

Your lot won 14 games in a rowLaser, so deserved to win the league, but we made up for it in Madrid, check my avatar :D
I have Ole as first sacking of the season, but I think Steve Bruce will now win that race.

However the biggest news of the summer is that Oyston is no longer in charge at Blackpool :-bd

On my way to Wembley for first match of the season against Lasers mob, expect the number 6 to feature heavily in songs from the Liverpool end :))

Can’t see any other red teams playing in finals in the near future, so you’ll just have to support us :)) =))

VAR, does beg the question how many dodgy goals counted last season and shouldn't have done.

Lots of arguments about Pogba taking the penalty last night, I always thought that there’s an unwritten rule in football that if you’re fouled for the penalty someone else should take it. :-o

Well looks like Sanchez finally offloaded though the rags will still have to pay his wages for a while. Between him and Pogba bad buys. VAR is controversial, I for one have seen a few howlers. If it can be used for offside why not disputed penalties.
Sad about Bury, think Dale is in hiding now, how he got away with it God knows.

Good to see you Laser, Sanchez was an appalling buy, maybe Ibbie could give us his thoughts :D

Champions League draw later this afternoon, three English teams in Pot One, that should make the usual UEFA fix difficult.

Looks like my 57 minutes guess for the length of the Champions League draw is going to be woefully short i-)

He wasn´t a buy, he was swopped with the Arse for Mhkitarian, who´s also crap but not as spectacularly, as he occasionally makes their starting XI or the bench. I´d rather we had kept the Albanian, but he didn´t fit into Jose´s plan.
