I have no confidence in the Greek legal system. I was done a three year suspended sentence for calling a frog a f...ing tourist. Its boy friend got the same for beating me up. I do not accept the law in Greece. In my case I had a frog who doesn't understand English, a prosecutor who didn't understand the subtleties of the language and interpreters going from frog to English to Greek. I wanted to appeal. My lawyer didn't understand either and said forget it. He said that I should just have lied. I rest my case.

Blackpool in the hunt :-bd
Forward Lionel Messi has asked to leave Spanish giants Barcelona this summer.

The Argentina international, 33, sent a fax to the club on Tuesday saying he wishes to exercise a clause in his contract, allowing him to leave for free with immediate effect.

Double standards from Gone Southgate and his employers, the FA. Nothing new.

Removing Mcguire from the England squad, but letting Sterling get away with going to Insane Bolt's no mask party. Only luck that he hasn't tested positive for beerflu.

However he has broken protocol and should be also removed from the squad.

So, now the conviction has been quashed on appeal and a retrial has to take place, has Westgate got the balls to restore McGuire to the squad?

Most doubtful.

Well this is a bit random :)
Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are interested in investing in Wrexham, the club have announced.

Deadpool and Detective Pikachu star Reynolds and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's McElhenney will put forward their vision for the club to members at a special general meeting.

The fan-owned club's members have voted overwhelmingly for talks to proceed.

Any potential takeover could lead to £2m being invested in the club, which has been in fan ownership since 2011.

A total of 1,223 Wrexham Supporters Trust members - over 95% of those asked - voted for the move and 31 against at a special general meeting on Tuesday.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

So apparently you’re allowed to watch a match on tv in the clubhouse, but not watch the game through a window :((
Fans can attend Emirates FA Cup second round qualifying ties at clubs from NLS Step 3 and below
We have been liaising with Government regarding attendance of spectators at Emirates FA Cup fixtures in light of the recent Government announcements.
Following our latest discussions with Government, the agreed position for matches in the second round qualifying will be as follows:-

• Where an Elite Club is playing another Elite Club, the match must be played behind closed doors (i.e. with no spectators permitted to be in attendance)
• Where an Elite Club is playing a Non-Elite Club:
o Where the match is played at the Elite Club’s ground, the match must be played behind closed doors (i.e. with no spectators permitted to be in attendance)
o Where the match is played at the Non-Elite Club’s ground, spectators of the home club only shall be permitted to attend the match in accordance with the latest applicable National League System Spectator Guidance.
Both clubs shall ensure that spectators of the visiting club are not in attendance at the match.

• Where a Non-Elite Club is playing another Non-Elite Club, spectators (of both the home and visiting clubs) shall be permitted to attend the match in accordance with the latest applicable National League System Spectator Guidance.

For clarity, clubs in Steps 1 & 2 of the FA National League System are considered to be “Elite Clubs” and clubs in Step 3 and below of the FA National League System are considered to be “Non-Elite Clubs”.
This position shall apply for matches in the Emirates FA Cup second round qualifying and will be reviewed again prior to the third round qualifying.
We can have supporters inside our club bar without a face mask tonight whilst INSIDE but we aren’t allowed to have 500 supporters in an open air football stadium with numerous COVID restrictions in place less than 20m away!

Where is the consistency?
When all else fails, read the instructions.

Those knowledgable sports reporters in BBC Radio 4 news department announced on two early morning broadcasts that Chelsea had beaten Spurs on penalties and progressed to the next round of the Cowboy Cup and not the other way round.

I see the elite kidult millionaires are keeping busy spreading Covid-19 around like there's no tommorow (which may well be true for some of the their unfortunate contacts) and the adoring fans can hardly contain their desires to gather in hordes and participate in the transmission.

If that's the criterion then Liverpool would be looking for a new one too.

ManU and Liverpool conceding 13 goals between them on a single day. Quite enjoyable for some of us. :YMPARTY:

It was a very big deal.
It is the Boro's first home win in this calendar year.
