The is from dot com. I have had similar from .co.UK

In my case the grandchildren had made several purchases of free games that they had bought. They are probably stored on my Fire Stick. You might have got or updated Youtube.

Being the sort of person that I am, I have reported this to the suspected phishing scam page of UK.GOV, not the URL in the e-mail, but this one.

I now await.

Ian, I have tested all the info in that message and believe it to be genuine but possibly inaccurate. Try:

Inaccurate in the sense that it is intended for people under State Pension age and live or work abroad.

I recall you were petitioning about your State Pension being frozen. They could have 'reached out to you' as as result of that.

PN,
Thanks for that.

I don't want reaching out to, but I'll wait with bated breath; not.

Monday - Friday, 7.30am until 5.00pm.
That's the bit that makes me dubious. HMRC may well have improved their opening hours, but I still stick to the stereotype that they limit their contact hours with the public.

It's an odd looking email but I think it might be genuine.

That post code is a non-geographic code.
BX
The non-geographic postcode area BX has been introduced for addresses which do not include a locality: this allows large organisations long-term flexibility as to where they receive their mail. This postcode area is used by Lloyds Banking Group (BX1 1LT) and parts of the HM Revenue and Customs like VAT Central Unit (BX5 5AT) and Pay as You Earn (BX9 1AS). Lloyds Bank also use BX4. After splitting from Lloyds, TSB Bank uses BX4 7SB, the latter part of which, when written, looks similar to "TSB".
Apparently, it is used by HMRC's National Insurance Contributions and Employer's Office.

OK guys thanks for the help.
I still don't know what I am supposed to have contacted them about.

I have another problem, my E-Mail server has been down since about 11:00Z today.
So my response to HMRC is in my 'save' folder.

I had a genuine letter offering a card which made 99% interest attractive. It was for just 536%.

I've watched a few of his videos - there's one where he's deleting the scammers files whilst he's talking to the scammer. The scammer is going bananas because he can't stop the deletions - bloody hilarious.

Wasn't it Capetonian who scammed the scammer into downloading a virus that locked up his computer?

These vids aren’t uploadable in the UK (because youtube are pure ****q) so you’ll need a VPN to view.

I had a scam text today .... they don't waste time.

It is from 'His Highness the English Ambassador to the Republic of Spain', and it invites me to submit my credit card details and booking reference so that I can get a full refund on my Thomas Cook holiday to Spain which was cancelled.
I sent him a reply with one of those credit card numbers that you can generate from websites.
Waiting for my money!

I have had emails from a Russian love scammer and each time I've replied to her to eff off, it just triggers another automated response. She is at Moscow Airport on her way to 'my airport' to meet me, but she has no money!

This is the latest effort :
Good morning my dear ,
But, my morning here is not good.
Still, I have good news for you.
I am alive and in good health.
Because in Moscow there are many dangers.
But I could easily avoid that.
I do not leave Sheremetyevo airport.
That's why I'm safe. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But there is other news.
I sleep on a bench in the waiting room at the airport.
AIRPORT SECURITY, approach me more than 5 times and asked what I have been doing at the airport for so long.
I had to explain everything as he really is.
And what will I soon fly from Sheremetyevo Airport!

Without your help with money, I can not solve my problem alone.
Therefore, I am waiting for your help, in order to fly quickly from here to your airport.
Help me today. Please, send help with money ON MY FIRST NAME AND NAME: OKSANA MIRONOWA
amount 200 EURO.

I'm dirty!
I have not been in the shower for a long time.
My body is dirty.
I want to go wash my underarms shave and so on.
I have a very dirty body.
In addition I'm hungry!
I only drink yogurt and I eat bread, because I do not have pocket money.

I expect your fast help only 200 euros, so fly to you and take a shower and eat some delicious food.

Please send me information ...
If you have already sent me money,
so I ask you - send me quality a copy photo,
a Western Union document. or MoneyGram.

I want to see with my own eyes that you are sending help with money.
I need a high quality photocopy, in which I could read every word.

How did you write your first name and last name in the receipt?
You understood me? I want to see every word.
And only then I go to the office.

What can I do for you when I arrive? What do you want?
Your future wife ❤ Oksana
I have also won 12 billion dollars. I think that might be my biggest lottery win ever!
This is to inform you that a Lottery Winning payment in the amount of US$12,000,000,000.00 (Twelve Billion United State Dollars) was legally approved and deposited with this Bank, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). The lottery won by your e-mail address via online active email address selected from sponsor of Coca Cola Company award. It was registered with your email address by the Lottery Board Executive Directors Of Coca-Cola Company Canada Branch, and they instructed this Bank to credit this Winning direct to your private bank account with immediate effect.
In view of my massive win, I've sent the bitch €200 by Western Union.
I've blanked out my name and number, obviously they are not my real details but they are the ones I use for baiting scammers.

Well done Cape! Jim Browning would be proud of you indeed. 👍🏻
I take it you simply filled in the form, scanned then sent it off to her without going near any institution?

Oksana says she’s all grubby and needs to shave her armpits. Man isn’t that sexy enough to inflame your passions and bolt €200 off to her! /:)

Anyway a mate of mine in the Gulf just fell for the Bitcoins-era scam. The agency is 10CFDs.com somewhere in Eastern Europe who are trying to contact him by different ph calls from different countries (of course he can’t call back) in order to get the $5000 they have from him to instruct him how to set up his portfolio to make him them money. Fortunately he’s ignoring their calls and it looks like they can’t do squat till he’s set up the robo-investment himself, but he does have an email address from them. The silly bastard was half tanked when he applied and didn’t give due diligence.

This truly a pathetic effort from
Barclays Banking Online transfer Services
(BARCLCAYS BANKING) LINERPOOL, M60 4EP
E-mail (infobanking98@gmail.com)
Contact person: Mr.Eric Normans .
I wonder if he's got his email address correct ..............
Hello boy

I am having some difficult with your wondrous communication.

(BARCLCAYS BANKING) LINERPOOL, M60 4EP

I have never heard of BARCLCAYS BANKING
I have never heard of LINERPOOL although there is a town called Liverpool from which LINERS used to set sail.
M60 is a Manchester postcode.

Do enlighten me and then I would be happy to proceed with our little arrangement.
