On a similar topic, I am a life member of the Australian Order of Old Bastards, as well as the North Goobang Philosophical Society.

The latter was a requirement if you wanted beer/wine with your meals when working at the Parkes radio telescope, thanks to Oz licensing laws.

I know Goobang Ck. well. Back in the '60s, Parkes used to dump their untreated sewage into it, and Condobolin pumped their town water supply from it.

One of several reasons I don't drink water.

Who is that ugly cow? She looks like one of my Frog teachers in junior school. I don't think even the most frustrated pre-pubescent boy could have fancied that. She was unpleasant as well as ugly.
