The DC3 was chartered by the Hash House Harriers, a group of alcoholics with a running problem, of which I was a member.

Ah HHH, that brings back memories!

I was a HH Harrier in Sumatera, Indonesia in the early 1980's, where we once had a 'Trans Equitorial Hash', as Rumbai, the oil camp where I lived, was close to the equator so an organised trip to run a hash that crossed the equator was too good an opportunity to let pass.
Also ran the Hash in Kuwait, and that was quite novel in a different way!
We hates Bagginses!

I also ran Hash in Kuching in Sarawak, the On On at the local makan house we mostly went to was making the towkay a rich man,so much so that any one of us going finish never had to pay for their beer on their last night. the hangovers the morning after a run were legendary.

A chuff chart with a difference!
Haven't had a chuff chart in a very long time. RAF Sharjah mid 1960's. Days done divided by days to do, of a 12 month tour in the desert. Remember seeing one in Gan on the way to the mess. Quite a few guys used to salute it when passing. I think there must have been a contingent who all arrived together.

OK, what I found most disturbing about that is the fact that my number is lower than that one. I don't have it up on the wall though.
