We recently had International Daughters Day. Isn't it a bit sexist that they only get one a year when every week we have a Sunday?

I was at an online funeral today (true story and nothing funny about that), for an old family friend that my Father had worked with for many many years. He was in the Airlines also, and started out with TAA in Newcastle in the early 70's.
One eulogy recalled (the said deceased) dispatching a flight at Newcastle when a prominent Newcastle Business man ran up and asked 'Have I missed the Flight?!? .....the reply was "Yes, but if it is any consolation, you only just missed it!"
