Just heard of more deaths related to home-made drinkies in SA. I hardly think embalming fluid is suitable for adding to ginger beer, but some people do....

Would give the phrase 'getting stiff in the joints' a new meaning I think! :-?

Walking past signs warning of both a dangerous riptide and that there are no lifeguards on duty, and then complaining from the hereafter that this was the reason you drowned must rate a mention....

OK, the guy in this video came close. turned up to a protest with a hunting bow, supposedly loosed off one shot, which missed, at a protester and then got mobbed. He seems to have survived though, although his car didn't.

What were they people protesting about - social distancing? Looked like about 500 more candidates there.

I wonder whether these hospital admissions will be attributed to Covid-19 as it will be very useful to the UK and other so-called “democratic” guvvments if the figures can be massaged and pumped up like collagen filler in the lips of the ‘trout-pout’ celebs-mostly female-who regularly pollute our meeja illustrations;

Perhaps temporary insanity can be added to the symptoms along with sudden loss of taste and smell?

Looking at the picture of the beach earlier in the day, before the peons were herded into even closer proximity, it’s difficult to imagine any form of social-distancing...

Last time I saw Durdle Door, about 50 years ago, the beach was totally deserted. The scenes depicted in the above link only reinforce my decision not to return to UK.

Trying to check out by congregating isn't novel any more so they aren't really up for consideration.

Lunacy in our land in many places today including mass fights in villages around these parts. Cabin fever combined with the hot weather is bringing the worst out in people. It is going to be a long hot summer.

Lincs Police are investigating two candidates who done a base jump off Boston Stump (266 feet high.. don't do metric) during the night. Apparently one of them landed on his face :-bd , unfortunately they were both able to runaway afterwards. I expect they can't resist the temptation to post it on yewtoob.

Oddly enough,because it hasn't been reported in the Meeks, I saw two bright-red canopies come off the top of the walkie-talkie yesterday and land near the Thames.

I suspect, only suspect mind you, that they may have used some device to retard the speed of their descent as witnessed by the lack of blood and guts at the base of The Stump and the fact that they were able to run away from the scene.

In 1956 when we built a temporary ARSF in a hanger at Coningsby, we installed a VHF aerial on the hanger roof.

We discovered that 'line of sight' to the south included Boston Stump, and to the north, we could see Lincoln Cathedral.

We couldn't make out the Imp!
