Lauren Hunter Daman, 27, accidentally discharged the weapon, a 9mm handgun, while alone in her bedroom the morning of November 9, Upson County cops say
Officers were called to Daman's Thomaston home - which she shares with at least 3 others - around noon, receiving a report of an 'accidental gunshot wound'
Upon their arrival, police learned from a paramedic already at the scene that Daman 'had shot herself in her vagina, accidentally,' a police report reveals
Officers then learned from one of Daman's housemates that the woman works as a webcam model for the popular adult site 'Chaturbate'
The housemate further revealed that he believed Daman was recording when the gun went off
The woman was medevac'd to a hospital 40 miles away in Macon that afternoon, and was only released earlier this week
Criminal charges will likely not be filed in the case, Upson County sheriff says

A Georgia woman working as a webcam model for a popular pornography site accidentally shot herself in the vagina earlier this month, a police report chronicling the bizarre incident reveals, in what a witness says was a pornographic video gone horribly wrong.

According to the report, e-girl Lauren Hunter Daman, 27, accidentally discharged the weapon, a 9mm handgun, while alone in her bedroom the morning of November 9 while several of her housemates were on the property.

Around noon, cops were called to the scene of the Thomaston home, after receiving a report of an 'accidental gunshot wound.'

Upon arriving at the scene, Upson County Sheriff's Deputy Zachary Wall immediately encountered an EMS worker in the woman's driveway clutching the handgun, as well as a spent bullet casing.

The paramedic notified the officer that 'the female had shot herself in her vagina, accidentally,' the report reads.

Daman, wounded but in stable condition, was subsequently carted off to the parking lot of the Upson County Sheriff's office.

Daman, who resides in the small-town of Thomaston, Georgia, works as a webcam model for the popular pornography site Chaturbate, where users 'tip' performers for requested sex acts. Her housemate told police that she was likely filming went the gun went off +8

A police report filed after the November 9 incident states that a paramedic, who arrived at the scene before police, told responding officers that Daman 'had shot herself in her vagina, accidentally' +8
A police report filed after the November 9 incident states that a paramedic, who arrived at the scene before police, told responding officers that Daman 'had shot herself in her vagina, accidentally'

Police then conducted interviews with the other residents of the home, three in total, and two other present went the shot went off.

One of the woman's housemates, Jordan Allen, the owner of the firearm, told deputies he was in the kitchen when he heard a gunshot - and shed some light on how the strange incident may have occurred.

According to the report, Allen rushed to Daman's room when he heard the gun go off, and found her with blood dripping down her leg.

Allen then told police that upon seeing him enter the room, a bloodied Daman told him that she shot herself accidentally,' and profusely apologized.

Allen then illuminated the officers as to his housemate's occupation.

Per the report, Allen told cops that 'Daman has "subscribers" on a sexual web platform called "Chatter"' and added 'that she 'makes sexual videos of herself and people pay her to see them.'

Allen then advised the lawmen that he believed she was recording a video at the time the gun went off.

Daman's social media profiles reveal that the woman has at least one young child - an infant

Daman, who was in stable condition when officers arrived but was medevacced to nearby Macon to receive treatment, reportedly gave cops a conflicting account of what led to her unfortunate injury

The incident occurred at Daman's Thomaston home (pictured) - which she shares with at least three other residents. They were all present at the domicile when the gun went off +8

A second housemate, Addie Ruth Johnson, further told deputies that sometime after the accidental discharge of the firearm, Daman walked into the home's living room, telling Johnson and several others 'that she accidentally shot herself.'

Police also interviewed a distraught Daman before she was driven away, and stated that her account of the shooting was inconsistent, with her claiming at one point that she discharged the weapon herself, and at another that the gun went off during a consensual sex act with Allen.

Despite the inconsistencies, however, Upson County Sheriff Dan Kilgore told The Smoking Gun that the shooting, which his department labeled 'reckless conduct' in their November 9 report, is unlikely to result in criminal charges,

Moreover, the 'web platform' Allen mentioned to officers is actually called 'Chaturbate,' a popular adult site that allows models to receive donations from viewers in the form of 'tips,' in return for the recorded staging of requested sex acts.

It is currently unknown whether Daman was broadcasting online when the gun went off, or whether she was recording a video to be uploaded to the pornography site.

Her social media profiles reveal that the woman has at least one young child - an infant.

After arriving at the parking lot of the local police department, the woman was medevac'd by helicopter to a hospital in nearby Macon - situated approximately 40 miles away, the report further discloses.

She was released earlier this week.

A stowaway was found in the landing gear of a plane at the Miami airport, authorities say
Must try harder!

https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/27/us/miami ... index.html

Authorities discovered an apparent stowaway Saturday in the landing gear of a flight from Guatemala at the Miami International Airport, local and federal officials said.

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the airport apprehended a 26-year-old man who "attempted to evade detection in the landing gear compartment of an aircraft," a CBP statement said.
The flight was American Airlines #1182 from Guatemala City, said Greg Chin, Communications Director for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department.
American Airlines said in a statement the flight was met by law enforcement "due to a security issue," after landing at 10:06 a.m.
CBP said in a statement a 26-year-old man was apprehended

The airline said it was working with authorities on the investigation.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed to CNN they transported the man to a local hospital for medical assessment.
In a video posted on Instagram by the account @onlyindade, a person is seen dazed, standing in the shadow of an airplane wing with airport personnel in reflective vests, before he appears to slightly lose his balance and sits on the ground.
In another video posted by the same account, law enforcement and emergency medical services are seen around the man as he is given water and other aid.
"Persons are taking extreme risks when they try to conceal themselves in confined spaces such as an aircraft," the CBP statement said. "This incident remains under investigation."

Yes.
The activity was Darwin-worthy had he succeeded in taking himself out of the gene pool.
Normally an attempt such as his would have earned the award.

For once the DM reportage seems accurate. The prize for fiction is between the Gloucester journalist and the unfortunate subject of the story.
I suspect that 57mm was eye watering enough with the 170mm length a mere trifle.

Now had it been a 2 inch mortar that might have been interesting. Bit of a blast even.
