I hasten to stress that this is NOT one cycling idea I intend to adopt or copy;

https://rumble.com/vxhe75-epic-cycling- ... cycle.html

Interesting invention and maybe all those unused rusting bicycles in France are even now being modified for tackling the English Channel.

But the progress versus the effort input by the human bean does not pass the cost-benefit analysis, though doubtless Johnson's wife, Carrie Antoinette and that Goldsmith 'Lord' chappie in the UK will be campaigning for us all to take our foreign holidays aboard such a craft.

And so the depopulation agenda subtly grinds onwards but not upwards! :)) =)) :-B

Police: Teen dies after boys shoot at each other while wearing body armor

Could also be posted in Stupid Is thread as this is out of Florida.

https://www.azfamily.com/2022/04/09/pol ... ody-armor/

BELLEVIEW, Fla. (Gray News) - A Florida teenager is dead and two others have been arrested after police said the boys took turns shooting at each other while wearing body armor.

The Belleview Police Department responded to a call of a shooting over the weekend at a house and found 16-year-old Christopher Leroy Broad Jr. shot inside of the home. He was transported to a hospital but died from his injuries.

Police said through their investigation they found 17-year-old Joshua Vining and Broad were taking turns shooting at each other while wearing a vest that contained a form of body armor. BPD Sgt. Michael Miley said Broad Jr. died after he was hit by a bullet fired by Vining, according to the evidence found.

On Thursday, police arrested Vining and 17-year-old Colton Whitler.

Vining was charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child with a firearm and Whitler was charged with providing false information to law enforcement, according to Belleview police.

Were the 'combatants' aiming to harm each other, or was it a game to see how they survived?

Teen shot and killed by friend in ‘prank gone wrong,’ police say

https://www.azfamily.com/2022/05/23/tee ... olice-say/

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT/Gray News) – A 15-year-old was killed in a shooting Mississippi police are describing as a “prank gone wrong.”

According to police, three teenagers pulled up to a friend’s house wearing ski masks and holding splat (water) guns that looked real.

Police say the teens’ friend pointed a real gun at them, shooting a 15-year-old in the chest.

The Jackson Police Department said the shooting was justified, according to WLBT.

According to police, two toy assault rifles and one real handgun was recovered from the vehicle.

Jackson City Councilman Kenneth Stokes said kids make mistakes but believes these teens should have known better.

“Playing with a gun is not a practical joke. It’s similar to you pulling a BB gun on a police officer and thinking that police officer knows it’s a BB gun or a toy,” he told WLBT.

Ravens' Jaylon Ferguson Died from Effects of Fentanyl, Cocaine, Per Medical Examiner

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/100 ... =editorial

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Jaylon Ferguson's cause of death has been revealed.

Bruce Goldfarb, spokesman for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, told Darcy Costello of the Baltimore Sun that Ferguson died from combined effects of fentanyl and cocaine.

According to Goldfarb, the death was ruled an accident following an autopsy.

Ferguson died June 21 at age 26.

"We are profoundly saddened by the tragic passing of Jaylon Ferguson," the Ravens said in a statement. "He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and infectious personality. We express our heartfelt condolences to Jaylon's family and friends as we mourn a life lost much too soon."

Per ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Baltimore police responded to a home at approximately 11:25 p.m. local time June 21. Ferguson was found unresponsive and never regained consciousness after being treated by medics. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Ferguson's family also issued a statement in the wake of his death:

"Despite the speculation in earlier reports, at this point in time the cause of Jaylon's death has yet to be determined. This is one of the darkest moments in our lives and we are all still utterly shocked. We ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this difficult time."

Goldfarb noted the medical examiner's office hopes to have most of the written autopsy report completed within 90 days.

Doni Smith, Ferguson's fiancee, posted on Instagram that a viewing and celebration of Ferguson's life is scheduled for Saturday in Louisiana.

Ferguson was a standout player for four years at Louisiana Tech from 2015 to 2018. He set an FBS record with 45 career sacks in 50 games.

The Ravens selected Ferguson in the third round (No. 85 overall) in the 2019 NFL draft. He appeared in 38 games and recorded 4.5 sacks in three seasons with the club.

Was it an accident that someone put fentanyl and cocaine in his sugar bowl or that it wound up on his powdered doughnuts?
I don't think so.

Russian soldier in Kherson Oblast is detailed to destroy an abandoned S-300 missile launcher with two, possibly 4 missiles on it.
He decides to fire his rifle at one of the missiles from 20 yards away.
Cargo 200 (assuming they can find enough pieces to fill an envelope)

Well, there was someone else with him holding the camera and speaking. If they survived the blast then I bet they needed a few vodkas after that experience.

I remember from +55 years ago a WW II vintage safety film demonstrating why you should not do exactly what the Russian soldier did, although from memory, it was an unexploded grenade that was the target.
A workmate was nearly cleaned up by throwing a rock to break an old CRT, which imploded and threw the heavy bit at the back at him.

Now held no more after 600 ? years. Shame.

Shouldn't this be "Here hold my Vodka for me" since it involves a Russian?
