Thanks to Alison for all the hard effort and work undertaken to keep the tech up and running etc. We are very lucky really.

+3, appreciations from the country side.

Still grey, damp and gloomy. Just drank two pints of Guinness to make me feel good after recent debilitations. I must get debilitated more often.
Big day at the Tiviloi tomorrow, play from the local drama group, I shall have a choc-ice and some Whitstable Ale afterwards.

Thanks also from both OFSOs. Be lost without Ops Normal, for many different reasons.

Can't even go and commit personal aviation on Sunday...

sunday bloody sunday.JPG
Now a geezer's nightmare
Slowly unfolds
The sound of English rain
Pisses on the coals

Alder birch cedar boxwood pine
Who among us can deny?
We love a good fire
We love a good fire
We love a good fire
Who doesn't love a good fire
I think a bad boy's day out and music beckons tomorrow (night).. family altercations call in the morning, to my aviation detriment...

Though you remain
Convinced

You must have somewhere
To go
Your destination remains
Elusive."

As it extends over night, can we have bacon butties later on?
I think that we should all be on Rate 1 at the very least

An admirable suggestion - Hunt Balls used to serve bacon sandwiches as punters waited for the carriages to arrive to take them home (leastways, those that I attended as a young man did)
Morning folks. What stingy bastards. As many here know a full English after an OM Summer Ball.

Just looked at the scotch bottle. Patient and nursie consumed almost a full bottle over yesterday's operation. Well, one of her specialisations is anesthetics it did work and post op as pain killer worked also. First pain free night in two weeks. A bottle of scotch was cheaper than the doctor with a knife. Still trying to work out why the nurse had to have the same amount as the patient. Moral support?

A nothing to do day. Blazing sunshine as usual. Rain forecast for next week!

Yes indeed, thank you again Alison and hope all goes OK.

I had a nervous-dental friend who told me his also nervous dentist would have a wee nip before operating on him, and would offer him one too. On one occasion he was the last patient of the day, they both had several drinks, he awoke in the chair to find dentist snoring beside him. Sounds unlikely but who knows ?
A German urologist and I shared a few snorts of whiskey in his practice on one occasion after diagnosis, until his receptionist came in and reminded him he had more patients to see, and I'm not making that story up.

Best wishes to Alison for a speedy transit and hold your ears stiff, German speakers !

I think I've already told the tale of being about to set off on an 8 hour motor bike trip, with toothache. ( me, not the bike ! ) My Aunt, a nurse, gave me a small bottle of whiskey and told me to take a nip,and swill it around the tooth every 30 minutes. It worked, and I didn't attract the attention of any passing Police cars ! I arrived home much happier !

Morning all.

Sun just burning off earlier cloud.

Could I echo thanks to Alison.

Bit preoccupied with Mrs IB and her internal stones/pain.

....and just to join in, fell out of bed last night and nose connected with bedside cabinet. Oouch!

Maybe nurse wanted to check the quantity consumed.

Rain is frequently forecasted rarely materialized

Morning all,
Same sort of wx as just reported.
fell out of bed last night and nose connected with bedside cabinet
A generous gesture.😊

Visit to Bahaus could well prove expensive SM re-modelling both the bath and shower rooms, and then she found a sofa warehouse ............
To be fair the washing facilities desperately need doing, have done for the last 10 years.

Managed to avoid the Blue and Yellow.

The Friday afternoon traffic around AGP was atrocious, or am I getting older ?

Bahaus were supposed to have a nice looking office chair at a good price, not , it seems at the MA Lager store. One of the main reasons we went.

Came back and found just the job on the big river, it'll be here on Monday.

See you all on "The Other Side"

Yes Ibbies, wish you well. Back at gym this morning but I'd guess 50% of my lungs still have the Waller Virus as chest hurts to breath. Will now try a bit of sauna. Mrs OFSO still coughing her internals to pieces, worried about her also.
