Crowds today in the wind, she passed 5 metres distant. That at 9am, no cars, no movement, nothing.

200 yards from the rabbit warren and downwind, just too much of a temptation and the terrier instincts took over. Dog whistle range is supposed to be up to 2 km, obviously less than 100 m into wind 😁

Off to the barber in an hour for a number three. Who would have thought such small things would have meant so much?
I had a number two this morning, not a small thing =)) =)) =)) =))
When all else fails, read the instructions.

When I had crutches after a broken ankle I had the same problem and I painted L and R onto them, but green and red is a far better solution.

In which case you need to paint your fingernails the appropriate colour?

Possibly of interest to Ex-Ascot
Geez Ric, I enjoyed the video, quite made my afternoon. When I finished my tour at Sharjah. took leave and hitched a lift from Muharraq to Changi, thence Australia. Catching a Brit from Bahrain to Singers via Gan. My family had emigrated to Oz.

Thought it odd the Cpl Tech who flew out to fix the radar didn't have flashes on his sleeve, and his stripes weren't upside down. They should have been in 1961 even on KD. They were happy daze.

Wind in N E Catalunia bringing relief from heat. Magpies having a loud discussion on the mountain. No squirrels or foxes here unlike London. Probably exterminated by locals.

Morning all.

Usual weather on the Costa. 23cc and heading for 30.

The boys from the black stuff have returned to repair the poor tarmac job they did on the road, before lockdown. Doesn't help that the temporary no waiting signs to do with the work have a start date of 6 October and an end date of Wednesday.

Mr Sun has poked his nose out this morning.
A pleasant day and forecast but coolish (12C) and quite breezy.

Some PAX flights have resumed from the local launchpad. All of them Ryanair.
No sign of Loganair or Jet2 yet. EMA is lucky in that a large part of it's
users are pure freight so there have still been a good number of flights in and out
during the lockdown.

If you want me I shall be out in the garden prettifying.

Sorry about the double image. No idea how to get rid of the second one.

Was it really like that in the old days? Would a Sgt serving coffee in the British have known the name of one female pax? Didn't they speak proper?

Could a cpl afford a car like that? I was there years in before I could afford a Ford Anglia.

Two snippets from the script. "Nav to Captain" which I mentioned had been in vogue throughout the 60s and the other was "Roger that" which my daughter thought was an Americanism when she was once in Exercise with them. Roger That was obviously a distant cousin of Roger Wait and his posh brother Roger Wait-Out.

The bird has obviously kept its x-wind technique honed during the lock down.

'afternoon,
same as,
hovering around 28, the guess this side is for 29.
Further inland there is a widespread amber warning for 40 to 42 degrees.

Must make an effort tomorrow to get to the bank with it's attendant silliness to transfer savings to current.
Don't just know why I can't do this on line. With the useless NatWest I can do it with my phone.

Pond has decided that milky is the new clear.
