Life in Botswana is going to be so dull when you get back.
I doubt it!

Woofter is OK. Seems that they are going to clear him to fly alone on Wednesday. As you know Woody I have advised wheel chair but to say he can get himself off the jet in an an emergency on his own.

Morning all. Mainly overcast on the Lancashire Riviera but promises of temperatures in excess of 20C for later.

Something has just taken off from Blackpool and flown overhead - I know not what. Twin radials, size of an Anson but wrong wing shape and engine sound (much too loud), unfortunately no transponder so can't track it on FR24.

On Friday we are off to North Yorkshire for a week, bags have already been packed and sealed (and re-opened, searched and re-sealed by SM for items subsequently found elsewhere) for several days so I can't find things I want to wear. ~X(

What it is to have an organised wife #-o , my packing was usually started about an hour before I left; I have been known to go to buy another, more suitable, suitcase with 60 minutes or less to go.

Have got two Greek tourists next to my chair here. He has this stupid hair bob on the top of his head, she has jeans ripped to shreds. What is the world coming to? Whatever happened to the tropical suit and tie on holiday in the Med. Now got two frogs opposite to us. Spoke English and a bit of Greek so will not smack them yet. Fresh fish and chips for lunch. 93 year old hotel owner's mother prepared them.

Edit, lesbian frogs. GET ME OF HERE. :-o

Should I be wearing a tropical suit and tie considering that (a) we have tropical temperatures in London and (b) we were the only white folk on the bus back from the Market ? Either Asian women wearing sheets or NR women in flower-printed frocks over vast buttocks.

Of course not. Pinstriped suit and bowler. Doff the bowler to the NR ladies it will confuse the hell out of them. They may get off the bus or even call the police for obscene behaviour.

Great lunch. Wedding party planning another boat trip. God knows where to. Maybe transatlantic this time.

Woofter just phoned asking how to spell 'Aeromed'. He is chucking his tenant out of his apartment in Stockholm so that he can move back there. Three days notice is a bit rough. He always has Indian IT consultants who work for a large local company so guess they will find somewhere for him/her.

Raki time.

I'm rather surprised (and impressed) that Ex-A's 93yo hotel owner still has a living mother.

Sorry grammatical error. Anyway the lady is here now. She is absolutely amazing. Would like to post a photo but she doesn't like to be photographed.

Pontius, dear chap. Are you trying to get me banned from this august forum?
Without going into too much detail, there are two types of tongue piercing; the tongue and the frenulum. Most such piercings are done to the fairer sex.

The piercing allows additional stimulation of the male preputium and glans.

Didn't the Goons feature her in one of their songs?

Pleasant weather here in London. Despite HMRC writing to tell me I don't have to pay IT I'm off to post my self-assessment this morning as I know better and Boris will need my money.

OFSO, I suppose I should get on with doing my self assessment as well, I did it for the first time last year and when I got the bill it was within £3 of my calculation, what did hurt was the fact that they wanted 50% extra on account.

Heavy and substantial rain all day yesterday in west Wales, this morning it may or not be raining, can't determine due to the impenetrable sea mist.
Had a vast plate of welsh lamb for lunch yesterday, delicious. Have redeveloped the taste for Brains, so not really too bothered about the weather, may scramble about the cliffs later.

Morning folks. In MY chair with breakfast beer. 'er has gone home to potter. Cracking day. 93 yr old owners mother has just raced past. She is fickle, she is perfectly capable of climbing the steps through the village but grabs your arm if you are going the same way.

Yep we have to sort out our tax here. Been putting it off. It is not much. However there will be a penalty this year as we pay everyone cash. Supposed to pay in plastic to prove supporting the local economy. The discounts we get will probably be the same as the penalty. Prefer our friends to have cash in their pockets.

Morning all,
Wx as reported by Ed's walker.

SM off for leg wound dressing, me to gestoria for the income tax (revised) news.

Instead of paying my Electricity Bill bi-monthly, which is normal here, I have a plan that divides it into 12 equal payments as in the UK.
This has worked well for eight years until this month when it has suddenly ceased.

I am now struggling to contact the Electricity Company as no numbers work and the e-mail bounces.

Sounds like the Electricity Company has unplugged itself.

That's odd Wod.

I get my juice off Iberdrola and have always paid monthly since I changed to them about five years ago. Got a new contract earlier this year with a further discount on price.
