4ma, why, when one simple, easy to fix, part needs fixing is the entire system condemned?

What's wrong with Keo? It tastes better than most cheap dutch beer available in the region!

I drank Keo draught beer in the Akrotiri Corporal's Club for 2.5 years with no serious side-effects.

Thinks: don't eat Xorico sausage in the evening. Palpitations all night. Force eight Tramontana didn't help, still blowing hard this morning and forecast says will continue all weekend.

A most wondrous start to the day here. Blue sky and a resplendent Mr Sun but it comes at a price.

Just back from getting me flu jab - tis a bit parky outside. Tea Being drinked and a smoked bacon sarnie in process of being eaten.

Showed Mrs 4ma a video of a lady mending a loose fence post like what we've got. She's had a serious rethink and has compared the cost of two metal straps and a few screws versus an entire replacement fence. For once in my life, I've persuaded her to change her mind. Off to the metal strap emporium after I've had me breakfast.
It's always my fault - SWMBO

HF/4ma, according to our burglar alarm it is 6.5 outside. Slept in this morning so fed dog and served breakfast. Ratty! Been bouncing off the walls not having had her morning walk, bath, breakfast, bed routine interrupted.

With a temperature drop of 12°c in 12 hours, a search this morning for electric blanket cables and AAs for the thermostat, then I topped up the CH water, and bled the radiators. Only one needed doing and it appears to have been the habitat of fish, judging by the smell....

A cultural and peaceful day beckons. A visit to the V&A with my estranged sister, we haven't done anything like this together for 20 years. Lunch in South Kensington and the home for a post prandial nap.

Bright, sunny day up here. 11C at present but there's a brisk wind from the north. The island's retired GP is occupying himself by growing lots of excellent vegetables which he sells and right now he's busy in his alternative retirement occupation, mowing the lawns & trimming the hedges chez Ricardian.

Bright and still windy - the pond is covered in leaves so will have to fish them out after lunch. Our gardener is a fit 33 and said he was given an appointment for a flu jab which he has never had before. Very odd. We still haven't had any notifications about flu jabs but normally it's early October before we are offered them. Mrs C16 now qualifies for a pneumococccal jab age wise so should get that at the same time.

I would chase up your flu jab C16, apparantly the rush for flu jabs is unprecedented this year and sods law will dictate that all the old folk who are waiting to hear from their Doc will be unlucky. we get ours on the 30th.

No jabs in Spain. Authorities forgot to order. Tried to get from German supplier. Can't be sent down to Spain although friendly pharmacy will do us if we travel there.
