This is not what Tesla Autopilot is for, but on this occasion it stopped the car from crashing while the dead-drunk driver slept at the wheel.

In Norway even being slightly over the very low blood-alcohol level results in an automatic prison sentence. In this case I suspect the jail time will be very lengthy. He certainly be getting his driving licence back in this decade!

Admitting one has been over to The Other Place is at the very least punishable with derision and contumely heaped on ones head, however there's a chap there called esa-aardvark who is in need of my advice on the subject of medical insurance, as although he doesn't know it, I'm his rep. on both the pensioners' association and association of former staff. I am of course banned for eternity from PPRuNe (an honour I do not wear lightly) but if any of you liberal chaps who are not so honoured could go over there and tell him I'd like to help him it would be nice for him.

Good morning.
A bit drab at present. Forecast for mostly cloudy. 12°C tops 19°C.

Taking Billy out for a trip this morning. Just a normal clinic check on the state
of his health.

Lots to do on my return. Lawns, screw a solar light to the back wall etc etc.

Cool here, pleasant. Our cleaner's young daughter did a tandem dive yesterday. A good person, very hard-working, has two jobs. Can sail a 60' cat, ride horses (and clean out stables), run an office, manage a hotel, catch Covid and mountain-bike 50kms two weeks later. When one hears of her latest exploit ones thoughts are always "what next?! "

Morning folks.

The sun is out again in a clear blue sky, Cooler at 20c this morning but will be back into 30s by midday.

Mental Health people have decided that son has had a one off incident. So he is contacting GP this morning for stronger pain killers and to see when he can drive again,

Woke to pale insipid sun shine and the day has just gone downhill ever since.

The internet is chronically slow this morning so I checked the service status and got the following reply from BT...

BloodyTerrible.JPG

What the @&£*** is that meant to mean. Date? I want the very hour when these useless bastards will have this fixed. Such a response wouldn't even pass muster in Africa let alone a supposedly 1st world country!

On a happier note I received my copy of Flying Scotsman from The National Library of Scotland. It features LoganAir and primarily Captain Alan Whitfield, he of Island Pilot fame. It is an absolutely wonderful documentary, and kudos to the National Library of Scotland for being so helpful and efficient in arranging with the BBC for me to have a copy.

Good moaning,
23c for guess 26c, cooler, high cloud as guessed.

No water supply yesterday, there is pump trouble it seems.
Water is normally on Sunday and Thursday. Don't use much in the house, can last months.
The irrigation and pond take plenty.

SM off to the Health Centre, visit to the nurse and El Medico.

Afternoon folks. Getting there with Squiffy Pussy III only one more day of deck painting in rubber paint. Pleased with the colour. Choice was Black, White, Brown and Green. Went for green but when it arrived the tin looked lime green. It is a darkish green. #:-S

Now the bore hole pump is playing up. Our project chappie says that the submersible pimp (unintentional typo) needs pulling up and cleaning. :-o

Nice day. Spring seems to have arrived.

You seem to be sorted OFSO but for the record I do have access after three attempts after my life time ban. I very rarely go over there as the supercilious git armchair pilots piss me off. A certain boat on our jetty is my name There. I was mega banned for talking about rag heads. Well what are they called in the Middle East? I have always know them as Rag Heads with their tea towel and fan belts. Do they have another name?

In the 1940s the colours were known as lavatory brown and lavatory green.
