For straight out Antarctic blasts try Tassy and Melbourne. I'm sure both places move South to within 50nm off the Ice Shelf during Winter.

Had to get medics out to Mrs IB again this morning. More intravenous pain relief. They think she has a small kidney stone floating about.

Have finished clearing kitchen. Now totally nackered.

Ibbie hope the boss gets better soon.

At the port at the other end of the island it is tourist city. Loads of the bastards have just come off two.high speed ships in two hours. Hotel owners standing with placards to try to flog their rooms. Time to leave. Looks as if our ship.may be slightly early. God I hate tourists. May leave a week earlier next year.

A small gin palace has just docked. Professionally crewed. Neat job. It is very entertaining watching some amateur docking here. The Germans seem to be the worst. They should stick to U Boats

Kidney stones make one feel wretched. Folk remedy is two bottles of champagne (to provide propulsion by virtue of the bubbles) and a very hot bath (to distend the urinary tubes).

Got 3 offers as a 320 driver this past week from 3 different outfits. Never applied to any of 'em. :-o
Might this be anything to do with 737 Max being grounded?

Airlines having to work their 320's harder to fill the gaps?

Just my thoughts.

Had a run out to Bath on the Tracer yesterday, roads pretty full, so though I would do a little country side riding this morning on the Enfield, it is difficult to jump from one bike to the other, particularly as the brakes on the Enfield are not the best, it caught me out a couple of times when I left things a bit late, same with the cornering, if you fling the Enfield into a corner it will simply put you in the hedge.
Walked up the railway line for lunch with missus om earlier, everything is very dry, it is muggy but not actually raining yet unfortunately.

Stir fry for tea.

This is boring. How can anyone go on cruises. We are just ploughing through clear blue calm sea, blue skies passing very nice islands. But I am f...ing bored. Usually do this at night with a cabin but the summer shedule is daytime. It is just not cricket. May just go as far as Naxos next year and then fly.

God I am bored. And the beer is bloody expensive. No idea where we are but three more bloody hours to go.

Good idea you did not try the Naxos path this year!

We've enjoyed a couple of cruises. Sitting watching the changing scenery is part of the pleasure. Of course a cruise ship is more comfortable and designed for longer voyages than the ferries, but even the latter can be enjoyable.

I'd rather look at the sea and the islands from my seat on a ferry than some of those ugly frogs you've sent pictures of from your chair at the tavern!

Guess he needs more driving lessons. Will see you avrio RiS

Still bored. Another beer me thinks.

This is very good dolphin weather but haven't seen one yet.

Cape I think the majority of the very few pax on board here are Greek. Not a single frog to chuck overboard. Shame really. Good sport.

Just approaching the mainland. The end is in sight.

No UP we are on Blue Star 2. The fast things are limited to BF7 and often cancelled. Also you have to stay inside with everyone chucking up all over the place. We always take the big slower ships. Still trogging along.

We are listing to starboard. Suspect bad loading of trucks. About 20 years ago we were listing so badly you could only see the sky out one side and sea out the other side.

Bored.

We've done 2 easyCruises. They were fun. Sailed at night or early morning so most of the time we were at port. Hopped off and strolled around. We've also done a Nile cruise too on a smaller ship. That was fun. :)
