Ah yes, sitting in reverse mode on the WC, reaching forward to unscrew the nuts by fingers, wrench or saw. And then falling off.

I went to the Ducklington steam rally today and ended up taking a load of photo's of the aircraft taking part in the Fairford air show

There must be a story behind this, but I've no idea what

Nice photos Zarniwoop, I was idly looking at this clip of the arrivals at RIAT just now, I didn't realise that there were still F4s in service, are they Turkish perhaps?
Apologies for aviation content, I do try to avoid that.

Allegedly it’s the Centenary of BA and they’ve painted 4 aircraft in “retro “ colours, today BA100 was a special promotion flight with the Red Arrows, got no chance of making another 100 years with the current CEO X(

To continue with the Aviation Content and adding in a bit of spotter-mode, am I alone in thinking that the above livery beats any of today's offering into a cocked hat?

Why have a wimpy classic bonnet ornament like a Jaguar or Spirit of Ecstasy when you can have this deranged charming character instead

Morning. Back in Honkers after arriving last night. Muggyish 30C outside.

Roster change: doing a LOFT with two rated capts this evening. That'll be a doddle and hopefully we'll finish up early. Apparently the children's paperwork isn't cleared yet.

Looks like we have a bunch of sleepy-heads this morning. Is nobody up and about ?

Wx mainly overcast but sunny periods forecast. 13C, max predicted as 22C.
Temps guessed to ramp up to 27C tomorrow and then 30C+ Tuesday and Wednesday.

A nice plump, fresh mackerel had for breakfast. Now trying to decontaminate the kitchen of fishy pong
before Mrs HF graces me with her presence.

Something to ponder over this morning:All polar bears are left handed.

............got no chance of making another 100 years with the current CEO
with knobs on. Steals our Staff Travel concession - tho' his is "contractual" for life - and spends over 100 million fighting the pensioners over the issue of increases based on the lower CPI index instead of the agreed RPI. Barsteward, him and that Irish git.

Good morning all. Late start. Sunny and not a breath of wind. Have to remove the old dishwasher today so the appalling stains of rusty water can be cleaned from the floor. Don't know whether to move it in the wheeled platform I built for sculpture, or drag it on piece of carpet.

I've been up since the time you went to bed mate!

30C+ approaching. Very civilised weather my friend. Ex-A would approve too.

Didn't know them bears were left handed. Pondering...🤔

Warmish day here. I hoped to spend it the day in the beach but it seems unlikely.
