Mrs OFSO making her famed chocolates. A bag for all friends. I'm taking one in for Franz, Ford's service manager. Good guy. While the chocolates set she's also doing a portrait of her cousins dog and sculpting presents for the family. Just hope the unspeakable Froggies are not on strike next week so we can carry this lot back to Blighty.

Pre-Christmas Lunch today at the Diem. Roast Pork. Next Sunday is the Actual Christmas Lunch. Will be like a Saga trip out. All the British here are ancient and decrepit.

Must sort a tactical evening to go to the lights in Ma Lager city, a new display this year which is reputed to be better than ever.
Wodrick.
I've just been told that I have agreed to go to see the said lights and have a bite to eat on 19 December, to celebrate daughter's actual 40th birthday. Her BIG party is the following night at a night club in Benalmadena.

Ma Lager sold the old Christmas lights to Liverpool, who were advertising them as a new display, until they got caught out :-o
When all else fails, read the instructions.

THE SUBJECT has not been mentioned yet. The only problem I have is parking, not having the benefit of a train in which would be my choice from your end.

Beautiful sunset tonight and good Africa sighting too.

Morning all, after yesterday's rain it seems to have turned out quite nice today. Forecast has changed to 2no rain expected" and it was quite warm taking the dog for a walk earlier. Also cleared a couple of gutters that were overflowing in last night's downpour. Taking middle dog to an agility try-out this evening, see what she thinks of it all. I suspect she'll freak out and refuse to go near any of the jump, tunnels and other stuff but you never know. She's certainly capable of the jumps, given how she hurdles a set of ladders on her way to greet squirrels at the bottom of the garden.

A nice sunny day with a decent temperature. I lay down one small carpet under the dinning table.

Unexpected rain last night. Supposed to be sunny today. Very high winds forecast for this side of the Atlantic later on. Anyone feeling them yet in the UK ?

Sorry to hear about your bad new over the last couple of days Ibbie.

Bright sunny day here but only 4C.
It has been breezy here over the last two days but this morning isn't too bad.
TAF'd as 18kts gusting 35 for today. Wind to get a bit stronger tomorrow.

Off to Sainsbugs and B&Q in a short while. Our ensuite has been gutted and now needs to be
restored to something that SM will find acceptable.

Morning World,
Scattered, 16 and struggling to go higher.
Some loose bits and bobs rearranged overnight, gusts to 49.7 Km/h

Another soddin' holiday,"Immaculate Conception" but not widely observed even Mucky Donna open until 15.00.
Mucky Donna closes at the slightest excuse normally.

We were contemplating what to do for Christmas, all that we would invite for Christmas Dinner have either died or returned to the UK.

Going to be quiet.

*Ibbie* condolences for your friend, we are at that age where funerals are the norm unfortunately.

Morning folks. Rain forecast all afternoon starting 12.00 which it is now. Gone very black and thunder, looks good.

Obviously our prevailing wind is easterly. The three closest dead cows are SW but with this storm coming in the wind is all over the place and we are getting dead cow whiffs. Not very nice. The trick is to douse them in diesel and set them alight but it has to be the owner. Five years in the nick if we did it.

Latest house sitting applicants; he is a tap dancer and she looks after the mentally ill. Sounds like a marriage made heaven. American of course.

Started to rain a tad. Weekly laundry done and most of it dry.

Summer school holidays, Four kids swimming in the lagoon as croc bait. Don't understand them or their parents. With the lack of water the crocs will be concentrated now. We have children taken out all the time.

Just visited Heart Nurse, all fluids found satis, BP this morning is 120/80, she is very happy, particularly at the thought of my beer deprivation, missus om keeps track of such things and I have been below (just) 14 units per week for a year now.
Off to Autoglass for a new windscreen this afternoon, fish for tea and pictures again tomorrow "A Good Liar" with Helen Mirren, it is supposed to be very good.
Sunny, cold, windy, wet and dank, all at once this morning.

One was wandering round Lidl earlier and happened upon a couple, shopside, emptying the contents of their trolly into one of those wheely shopping bags so favoured by the Germans. Then they legged it, chaos followed as the staff gave hot pursuit joined by the Locales and the Guardia. Dunno if they were caught.

Ready for Christmas dinner with a Shoulder of Suckling Pig for the four of us to devour.

Edit.
Four kids swimming in the lagoon as croc bait
Are they NR or do they matter?

Wodrick, you said it. Never had many close friends, but I had close acquaintances and colleagues. We were forged as a team working in Germany for 25 years. Where are they all today ? Nearly all dead. Never mind inviting them for Christmas Dinner, I'd just like to chat and have a laugh about 'the old days'.

If you wonder why you see an old bloke at Christmas looking sad despite being surrounded by his family, that's why.
