A convoy of these turned at me canal today for a pie and a pint at the 'Dirty Duck'.

Raki time. Election fever. More meetings more promised *sh*t*. Don't know why people belive it. They are not going to deliver. We should have had a mains sewage system by European law ten years ago. It is still going into the sea. Promised *sh*t*.
Most houses on this island (Stronsay) which are close to the sea just discharge sewage & grey water into the sea. Scottish Water have plans to install a proper sewage plant for Whitehall Village (main population site) but every year it falls out of the budget because of higher priority schemes. My own house has a septic tank and so do other houses that are not close to the beach.

Ian16th, I had a bottle of white wine forgotten for a week in my fridge after the family lunch. The bottle is waiting to be recycled.

I hate throwing food and drinks away. And for a white one left practically open on the fridge it was surprisingly good.

last three and rank, if used, would most probably still elicit a response.

2xxx192 - Plt.Off. Sir !

Why is it that I can remember a number given to me 64 years ago, and yet can't remember my local bank account number or password - or where I have just put my car keys ?

2xxx192, according to Mrs PN, you will remember that number even through dimentia.

6 10 9 5 my mother's coop number
L42 6RF the long gone post code from my child hood home
Claughton 1470 my aunt's telephone number.

I cannot remember my civil service number of only 10 years ago. I have at last remembered my NI number; like Eric Morcambe, I knew them all but not in the right order.

Cloudy when I went for initial walk in campo, but clouds now going away, leaving normal blue sky. Currently 18c heading for mid 20s.

Daughter on her way over with grandchildren. Looking for sympathy as she had her purse stolen last night.

Oh dear, that simple statement does not adequately cover the violation and distress in loosing something that is ultimately replaceable.

The thoughts rushing through her head, where did I leave it, is it in the last shop I was in, I have just gone to pay for my weekly shop, embarrassment, what have I lost?

That last is the worst. How many cards are in the average purse or wallet today? Membership, loyalty, credit, club etc etc.

I am sure it has happened to many of us. Condolences to your daughter. I have a brilliant card insurance, PM me if you would like details.

I can remember my German bank a/c number from thirty years ago. The bank was bought by another German bank which discovered endless corruption and having transferred the remaining funds to its own vaults, closed it down. Now that German bank is also in dire straits. But the number lives on in my mind.

Morning folks. A very late breakfast down in the port. Why can I remember my service number from 1978 but not my current phone numbers?

Nice day. Very few tourists. We are at the main taverna in the port and have been the only customers for an hour.

Just noticed two people in the water. It is very cold and wet. The funniest thing is that tourists do not realise that we have sharks
here. Bloody big ones. OK, not usually in the bay.

Morning all,
clear, million mile viz, cooler than of late, just 20c at present.

My knee is more painful with each passing day, roll on physio on Wednesday.

Awaiting orders, going to remove garden from pond first, mostly rose petals.

Like pictures, that "John Deere" is a rum looking thing is that so that the wheels run in the furrows ?

Becoming a Boy Entrant straight from school, I was issued with my NI number after enlistment.

It arrived on a small beige card with the annotation that I would need it when I was demobbed!

Seeing as I was starting a 13 year engagement I decided that I'd better learn the number as I would probably lose the card, before it was needed!
I was assisted by the fact that the number includes 4 consecutive zero's.

Can remember the registration number Ian, but you've got me with the serial number. Is that the number allocated when it came off the production line at Piper? :YMAPPLAUSE:
