Interesting Sunday morning doggie playgroup today (and every Sunday). We arrived on time and she was keen to get in. As soon as she was off the leash she raced across to the check in table to be greeted by her neighbouring best friend a NZ sheepdog. He ran up to us and greeted us before running off to play. Meanwhile the Scottie just stood around looking for her other friend.
We set off on a circuit and she ran with us and others in the pack. Towards the end of the circuit Teddy, a Lakeland, and best friend entered. I doubt she could see Teddy from 200 yards but she knew he was there and raced off.
I find it fascinating that they have the same enduring friendship especially given there are more than 2 dozen dogs running around.

Any help?

I am a little surprised EA01 to hear that they have been sent back, given that the Comancheros are an old "established" Aussie bikie gang? I guess the NZ citizens now in the gang might be deported, but what about the Kiwi's who have basically lived in Oz all their lives? ;)))

Does Aus really want to "infect" NZ with what is basically an Australian gang vide? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... apter.html

Just for info :D
Have you visited Sandy Bay au naturel Woody?

In our final year at school, my whole class decided to spend a day on the beach at Sandy Bay. Filled with youthful confidence and delusion, some of us also brought our surf boards with us and I was hanging ten, letting it all hang out, as it were, showing off to some Springbok nude girls, only to realise that they were all looking at me and tittering, and I looked down only to realise that my gonads had basically disappeared given the freezing nature of the ocean on the Atlantic side of the peninsular. I took the opportunity of shrinking back into the ocean in shame and it was this incident, coupled with the fact that the sun burned my arse so badly, that I couldn't sit down for a week that has put me off naturism, save for the monthly nude day here in Castle Goblin, of course! =))

Morning to all. Cool wind here, going to be hot later so all windows and doors open. No sign yet of Growltiger the cat, which has adopted us.

Morning folks. Had noisy cruise boats Sat and Sun but only one each day. Not very nice weather. Cold cloudy and windy. Solar system is still not right having to run the genny for an hour each morning. Had an elephant wander past the front at 03.00 yesterday. Heard it but couldn't see if because of the security lights.

Morning all.

Was 18c at 06.30. It will get as far as 28c, if not more, later.

Foot doctor appointment at 11.45.

Grandaughter competed in provincial Rythmic Gymnastics competition in Sevilla on Saturday. Her team of four came 4th. Her next competition is the national one, in Valencia at the end of this year.

Top of the morning to you all.
Overcast but dry and chilly. 10°C at present and a steamy top of 17°C predicted.
The longest day today and then the big Yellow Thing heads south once more.

No elephants wandering by here but there are two blackbirds happily pecking away
at a couple of apples that I halved and threw out for them.

Cat been in for breakfast. Not really elephant-sized but is rotund, well-built. Not happy with cheap cat food, so wandered off in search of something better.

It wasn't a pink elephant was it Ex-Ascot?

A bit like the old story about the chap in the railway carriage, on the train from Waterloo to Surbiton, who noticed the man opposite him tearing his ticket into ever smaller and smaller pieces. "Why are are you doing that?", asked our chap to which the other bloke replied "it keeps the pink elephants away". To which our man replied "but there aren't any pink elephants!" to which the other man looked up and said triumphantly "effective isn't it!"

I could tell you the story about Spencer Flack and his pink Spitfire but I guess that would be too much pink in the morning. =))

I don't think we got our monies worth this year. Even the spam from my local car dealership refers to spring.

I would love to know where these temperature rises are. I thought we had gone from warming to climate change, to extreme weather and now we're back to rising temperatures.

I still can't get away from the feeling that we have gone from kilometers to metres to millimetres for our climate analysis.

Many years ago I remember sitting in a bar in LA and chatting to someone from PHX who’d come to be by the coast as it was cooler, it was about 30C at the time :-o

Didn't see it so don't know if it was pink. Speaking of which I see Sesame Street has introduced two gay dads. FFS.

Still cold and miserable.

I tend to see pink spots if I drink too much gin. Does this mean gin makes you gay! :-ss =))

Anyway no self respecting elephant would be pink or gay! It is a pity that the old fashioned word gay has been misappropriated by the halls of buggery!

Second time trying to get a book through to Australia to Pinky the Pilot as the first one has disappeared somewhere in the system. My better half posted the book second time around, on my behalf, and she put the recipient's name as Pinky the Pilot! =))

Apparently all the ladies behind the counter were agog as to who Pinky the Pilot was and I was questioned when I went into our little post office cum teashop this morning as the ladies know both of us. I pretended to be ignorant of Pinky and said I hoped that this Pinky bloke wasn't some long haul Australian she had taken a shine to... =))

Life is funny!
