Morning folks.

Grey cloud and "following the science" says it's going to rain, but at what time depends on the science source viewed.

Back from taking madam for a pee test. Shall set out for daughters bar shortly and pick some sausage rolls up at Porky Pies emporium.

Could be sunny on the Humber soon.
Mrs 1DC and I have been married for 54 years today, and we both remembered. Mrs 1DC wonders how she has managed to survive for that long, my reply that it is because she has had such an easy life will probably have repercussions one of these days. A lot going on this week so a nice restaurant next week will celebrate it. Both the kids remembered too, must be something to do with age because they never used to.

Morning all,
In low cloud at 0800, it has risen but still heavy grey overcast.
Guess is for rain later and all night with thunderstorms.

SM is off to the health centre to try to get a report that the GP is supposed to have written.
It is to get an appointment at the hospital to see her surgeon which seems an impossible task.

Congratulations *1DC*

I planned ahead, just one date to remember. Mrs PN was a day older after we married. I admit occasionally getting it the wrong way round with the cards. Just under two weeks to go.

She told me back in April what she wanted. I knew I could never find it now to I bought it then. Bought her Christmas presents in August. Only problem is remembering where I hid them.

Pool swim has been cancelled more on the rant section.

Guess is for a named storm which obviously impress people and will make people pay attention for the usual rain we are going to have.

PN you run the risk to have her found them earlier!

The mystery airfield is still an active RAF station (last time I looked)......carries on whistling whilst waiting for the answer.

Had a phone call this morning from one of me canal colleagues - asking how to get into a shipping container lock that is the wrong way round in a lock box without resorting to extreme surgery of the container. HTF anyone fitted the lock "the wrong way round" is any body's guess - told him to find Murphy and ask him.

We think alike PN. Mrs C16 and I were married on my birthday - she has a brain like a sieve for remembering such days. That makes sure she never forgets my pressie. I can't remember names of people I met a few minutes before but telephone numbers and birthdays of even the most distant relatives are somehow ingrained in my brain.

Mrs 4ma will be reminding me soon that her twin brother's next birthday is on the 7th of September 2021.

Maybe the wrong thread Ex-A? May I humbly suggest it would be better in the members' only chat?

C16, respect your comment as a fellow aviator but I want to go public and have. Best regards. PDR.

This forum has become awful, the comments in the members only thread confirm that.

I hope things get resolved, but at the moment it seems highly unlikely. Think I will step back and see what happens
