Went to Lincoln Hospital, nicely located next to the prison, saw a smartly dressed man last time we were there, nice clean light grey track suit and silver bracelet. Young woman with him had a similar bracelet.

Went to Peterborough A&E, young woman also well dressed in dark blue. She also had a bracelet. She had a woman with her quite presentable too but with attitude.

One thing is guaranteed if you go to our local hospital, you will see a couple of coppers with a drugged and/or drunken chav of either sex.

In dishevelled uniform, probably.

Morning all, heading into a warm spell here, about 28C here this afternoon, with temperatures predicted to rise to 38C by the middle of next week before becoming more reasonable again next weekend, around 27C.

A while ago, junior daughter told us about a number of cases in her village where a lot of local moggies had gone missing without trace and there was speculation that they were being poisoned or kittennapped.

It seems that the case of the missing moggies has now been solved - a woman taking her dog for a morning walk spotted a cat being grabbed by a Buzzard and being flown away to become breakfast.

Mrs OFSO always says its dangerous, but my late evening stroll around the neighbourhood involves dropping off the day's garbage at the Mews recycling. By 23:00 the streets are almost empty. At 20:30 last night our cousin next door said the police were there and had the street taped off. I went out at my usual time: indeed they were: I dropped my noisesome sack in another large bin and observed Inspector Knacker from a distance... Read this morning it was the scene of the day's stabbing. One teenager critical in hospital. Others being sought.

Morning all.

First walk completed and breakfast taken.

Weather as usual, said by some that temperature will be -1 from yesterday. Currently 21c. The forecasted high of 24c would appear to be a mis-guess.

Still windy, up early for walk before breakfast. Very quietly pulled on my cagoule and went to wake the dog - no way. She was standing by the door ready for the off. Let her have her head. Off we went in to wind. At the fields she opted for the nature trail. Then alert but stop and scent every few yards. We just kept on further than normal. Then back through the fields, but not straight home as you might expect. After an hour, back near the rabbit Warren she was ready to start over.

Back home, breakfast and crashed out for 30 minutes.

Morning all.
A dull morning here. There was a half-hearted attempt at rain around 6 am but nothing
worth talking about. Still breezy but dropped quite a lot. 13C at present heading for 16C.

Lunch prepped (chicken and pasta bake). Lawn mowed, plants watered, kitchen, bathroom
and the Dialysis Suite ( what else can you call it) floors all steam mopped. Maintenance actions
done on the dialysis machine. Now doing the Times crosswords and puzzles.

There you are ladies and gentlemen, all totally boring and pointless snippets.

G'day,
temperature fluctuating 23-24c there is a slight breeze.
Chief guesser might have changed as the guess for today of 26 seems about right.
The last two days have been way low.
Just a slight haze overhead.

SM is out weeding while the front is in shade.
I have cleaned the BBQ for the Sunday Ritual.

Takeaway tonight

After a 3 and a half hour exploration this morning Henry is now chasing his ball, he likes a tennis ball.

More pointless, boring snippets 😀

Morning folks. Been to the safari camp, we take the hooch they provide the mixer. Disturbing news yesterday, this no pop (and fags) rule seems to be extended ad infinitum. Really can't see the point. We believe that the luxury camps are opening in September. All inclusive. Are the tour operators going to tell their clients that there is no booze? Don't think so.

The flood is moving our way at 2.5 kms a day at the mo. The secondary flood is pushing it quite hard so we have a fair amount of pressure behind it. Still think we will not see it until middle/end of next month. I have been saying this for ages. Squiffy Pussy III needs a lot of work to get her back on line after over a year off the water.

Sausage roll for her and cheese and onion bake for him this lunchtime.

Sorry for being late on parade. I had a rather enjoyable tour in Stockholm where life is almost normal. Just the airports are not.
Restaurants and bars are open and so to are the hair dressers. I got a much needed hair cut.
Airlining sucks but it did anyway before this CV19 stuff.

Runway in Sight and Jimtherev yes I am safe for the time being WRT work. Union activities have been very busy dealing with the carnage of HR and the boss. A lot of it needlessly. If they only did their job properly and actually communicated effectively, so much of our work would be done. Grrr

Undried Plumb pleased to hear your daughter's on the mend.

Obviously these cat owners were not taking the precautions, since advised as being un-necessary, of keeping their cats at home?

https://woodgreen.org.uk/pet-advice/art ... -with-cats

Now we have a buzzard on the loose, not following social-distancing guidelines of “3 fridges distance” and who might be infecting even more people than Dominic Cummings!

We must kick up a meeja storm to have all buzzards shot, just in case... ~X(

- absolutely right - a scientific trial has discovered that cats cannot pass on the virus to humans, but a survey of felines showed that if they could they all would............

A day with enough activity. I completed some paper work for an insurance company and since a GDPR statement is signed with tomorrow's date it will be send in a half an hour or so.

A mosquito is flying in the kitchen and should be neutralized
