Tyne, Stratford-Upon - this is to ensure there’s no misidentifying another Stratford located lying upon something else.

Billy Shakespeare should’ve invented post codes. Then he wouldn’t have had to include Upon Avon as his return address.

Eratosthenes was a great brain of the times. He calculated the circumference of Earth and its axis tilt using only sticks and sun shadows. The old bugger was bloody accurate too.

Nata just down the road from us on the way to Francistown if you are brave or stupid enough to drive such a distance (particularly at night) 8-}

Wiki is especially uninformative when you consider the popularity of this place for people on safari holidays and those wishing to visit Vic Falls. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nata,_Botswana :-q

Narmer Palette on display in the Cairo Museum if you are unfortunate enough to have some spare time in New Cairo and in no hurry to see the King Tut display. :D

It is actually a very interesting artefact; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narmer_Palette :-B

Temple of Hierakonpolis in 1898 was the finding place of King Narmer's Palette, on which he is depicted wearing a different crown on each side. He fancied himself a bit, apparently ... :-?
