Ere the blessed arrival of Florence Nightingale on the medical scene, hospitals were pretty grim places. A remarkable lady, not averse to rolling up her sleeves and leading the way to much-needed hygiene in far improved wards and care for the afflicted and wounded patients.

Desirable for lasting and happy relationships (see above) is a double bed. Single beds are anathema, there's nothing quite as satisfying as a night-long cuddle ...

Leonberger - big, cute, fluffy dog. Also prevents snuggling due to taking up the middle three quarters of the bed.
