Why was Camilla in attendance at the opening of parliament?

Another rant coming on: 65 minutes of no electrickery. Storm had passed over and gone out to sea when for no reason house and hillside went dead. Two attempts by Someone Somewhere to get breakers in, finally must have used duct tape. Could have been serious: might have missed a call to go and have a vaccination 😆

As entertainment, I read on-line newspapers, however, I regularly have to check the date of an article as occasionally it is recycled 'news' - just now I have uncovered items from 2010 and 2013 that are promoted as headlines.

I've noticed that myself.
Also, several of the news websites that I use keep stories up for a long tjme, sometimes after the event is pver, ie. Chinese rocket reentry.
One would think with all the stuff going on it the world they would have a little fresher turnover.

My wallet has a target on it. :-o [-X ~X( X( :((
In addition to everything else that has been draining funds at an astounding rate, add one more.
The cell in my pool salt water chlorination system seems to be shot. The OEM cell costs 2/3 of total system while aftermarket cell only costs 1/2 of new system.
With downtime for shipping means $$$ for chemicals. Chlorine tabs have doubled in price and a shortage is forecast. prices will go higher.

A shoe advert has just played on Sky TV, using music from the Mozart Requiem. Totally unsuited. Some idiot in an advertising agency probably had no idea what it is.

PP, a villa we stayed in on the Gulf Coast didn't use chemicals. We used a different chemical in UK too.

I understand that hanging a dead rat or two in the liquid improves the flavour.

Isn't that what gave Bulmer's cider its flavour?

That reminds me of when Watney’s stopped making Red Barrel and the company was accused of discarding 10,000 cats onto the dole queues....

After 3 months of synthetic beer I went into the Officers Mess bar at Muharraq and spying the illuminated red barrel asked for a pint of......

It proved one thing, it didn't travel. It had the colour of Guinness, none of the flavour, and you could have stood a spoon up in it.

Calling Red Barrel beer, was infringing the Trades Description Act.

Ah Muckrack, where they used to pump the raw sewerage out onto the long departed tide and leave it to fester.
