Power went off. We missed the Grand National. Pisser...
The protesters tried to delay things for you.
At least you have something else to blame besides the power cut. :D

Fruit Flies

Someone left the kitchen scraps in the container for the compost pile in the house for too long. [-X
Infestation of fruit flies resulted. ~X(
Deployed dish soap and vinegar traps with so-so results.
Waving the vacuum hose wand around in Jedi Knight lightsaber fashion helped a little too. :))
Unfortunately the reproduction rate made the population return to approx. same as yesterday. :((

How do these fruit flies taste?

Although citrus would be nice I suspect that banana will be more likely.

I am livid. New gas/electric cooker delivered today. Nice simple one, so many power outages up here mess up electronics that I wanted a cooker with no clock, no programs.
I had to unpack, assemble it. Managed to gouge floor while fitting legs.
But....Prospectus says height 90cms. Actually 84cms, 85 with feet wound right out. Well below existing work surface. Looks stupid.

Mystery solved. We thought 90cms was to top of work surface. No, is "height overall" to top of splashback. Idiots.

Probably the two items below that one also.

Hey, take the tip off his nose as well, and they can prop the cooker up on those!

Just trying to help =))

Out of the Country, and took advantage of my NZ banks website ability to suspend the need for a Onetime Code to my cellphone whilst away, just in case, one never knows. My absence has been extended so have just tried to take the additional option to extend the suspension another 3 weeks. This can only be done by submitting the Onetime Code to my NZ cellphone, which I can’t receive and is why I suspended it before departure, and is still within the original suspension period ! Fxxxxxx Idiots. Rude letter sent to "Contact Us ". ExCommunication anticipated.

To all weather guessers:
It is not a forecast if you spout any old rubbish the day before, then sneak in in the morning before anyone else is up, and change your forecast to what it actually is out your window.

There are two giveaways:
1) The forecast stays wrong every weekend
2) The real weather is not the same everywhere, and we know where your window is.

I probably am repeating myself, but way back when, we'd look out of the window at the sky, search through our files, and hand the motorbike rider an appropriate previous photograph from the Meteosat spacecraft to take back to the ARD TV headquarters to show on that night's weather forecast as "Aktuell".

Toward the end of my appointment with my new endocrinologist, second visit in four months, she advised me that she was leaving the practice. :((
She was my seventh or eighth endocrinologist since I had to start using their services.
My first one's practice featured a revolving door of Nurse Practitioners who did the majority of work under the endocrinologist of record.
I left them because I got tired of starting over after two or three visits. ~X(
My next one was chosen for the practice and location, which was far closer to home.
I lost her to a change of my health insurance which didn't include her. ~X(
New practice is a conglomerate which has a broad spectrum of practitioners whose records are integrated so ease of sharing records, medications, labs, etc.
I'm beginning to take rejection personally. :((

After the show ended, several of the muppets went into the guttering business in Atlantic Canada X(
