Well done. The clue was the word 'jar' and the building is Het Instituut voor de Nederlandse Taal.
I walked past it on Monday and thought it was rather a beautiful door and would be a good challenge to put on here.

Thanks for that excellent challenge.

After that I need a drink... here's a nice pub.

In the medieval period, the village where it is located was one of the twenty wealthiest settlements in England.... posh innit?

Having visited there a number of times I know I'm correct, so, in the absence of corroboration I give the next challenge. Name of the town will do. And, as I'm about to head for my bed there'll be no clues or corroboration for the next 8 hours (if I'm lucky :D )

No, wrong continent. The building has some interesting earthquake mitigation built in.

No, not there. Here's another clue, anyone who's been inside will have seen this.

Thought about Taipei 101 from the 1st picture ..but thought better of it as it didn't really look much like it! Did not see the second until after 1DC identified it. My office window, for several months this year looked out on Taipei 101 not very far away so I should have gone with my first thought!
