No but you are roughly in the right area of Europe, although the country that this is in does not have a border with Poland.

The above two answers (DBx and om15) are both correct. It is well enough known for me to ask for the name of the building, which now should be very easy.

It was years ago when I took the photo, and I thought it was the Gellert Baths but on checking I am sure you are correct, so you're in 0A!

Thanks Cape we got there eventually through various threads. It was many years ago but found the food there pretty awful. Can't remember what the occasion was but it was with HRH PP and there was one of the most spectacular firework shows I have ever seen.

OK back to booze.

The clue is the shape of the storage bins, but so far can't find a match, my feeling is maybe a Champagne winery, Rheims or somewhere like that, but no joy yet

I have seen wine cellars looking very much like that in in Penedes (Cataluna) where they make Cava, which is the superior version of the stuff the French call champagne.

Not Cataluna or Spain. Three hours to try to solve this one then 24 to research it. Guarantee everyone here will have heard of the place so it isn't some unknown village in the middle of nowhere.

The piece of carpet visible by the gate, looks to be good quality.

So I expect the cellar to be of a country house or some such, rather than a vineyard or working establishment.

I do not remember any carpet. Maybe a rug. All stone as far as I recall. We think that is was a wine producing establishment in the past. Many vineyards around. No not a country house or some such.

Not open to the public only by invitation.

Am I right in thinking that this is in an area which would not normally be considered as wine-producing, eg somewhere in the UK?
