You may have been taken there by your parents for tea and cakes in the converted stables on a Sunday afternoon.

Fox has it. I used to cycle there from home as a kid. When No. 1 PTS was based at Ringway in WWII they used the grounds as a DZ. All yours Sir.

You are on the right lines, but not Canada. If a clearer image would fit, you would see the top flag is French, but the one underneath has a gold star high in the blue section.
Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
The flag of Acadia was adopted on August 15, 1884, at the Second Acadian National Convention held in Miscouche, Prince Edward Island, by nearly 5,000 Acadian delegates from across the Maritimes. It was designed by Father Marcel-Francois Richard, a priest from Saint-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick, so this is the area in which we must start looking.

I suspect we may have to look further afield. The anchor emblem on the pilot cutter appears to be that of the Federation Francaise des Pilotes Maritime. Can I plump for Saint Pierre et Miquelon? For a bonus - is the cutter called Radar IV?

Looks like Fox has gone AWOL, so I'll claim the prize.
Here's a really easy one, so easy in fact its bordering on ...errr.... easy.
Where is it and what's the event?

Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
Thanks for pressing on guys, 4ma is right, of course. My apologies as I've been out deconstructing elections signs; we have to have them gone in 48 hours here.
Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
This is a good challenge, the chimney looks like one on Bodmin Moor, however the dry stone walling looks up north, Lancashire perhaps, maybe Yorkshire.
