Hampton Court Palace?
Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
Not there, the house is Tudor, the wood panelling around the windows is typical of the interior, the building seen from the side window was originally stabling built in the 17th century, later converted to living quarters, look at the brickwork.

Brickwork could be Cheshire so a shot in the dark Tatton Hall. The Internet is so bad today I can't check.
'Yes, Madam, I am drunk, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly.' Sir Winston Churchill.

Not Cheshire, the proud builder was so pleased with the new fangled brick that he incorporated his initials into the wall, as can be seen between the windows.

I think it is Barrington Court, Somerset. It is essentially Tudor and was once the home of Colonel Lyle of Tate & Lyle fame purveyors of sugar to the gentry.
Gardens by Gertrude Jeckyll
Strode house was the stables converted by William Strode (the initials are WS?)

Faultless deduction by Smeagol, it is Barrington Court, I walked around it yesterday and took the photos for this challenge, I had a few more to put up as clues, but didn't need. The oak panelling inside the main house was carried out as part of the restoration by Col Lyle, well worth a visit if in the area, I did post a thread on house and gardens on the photo thread a couple of years ago.
Well found, Sméagol to kick off.

Evening all.
At first glance, reminds me of Looe in Cornwall, but could be any of the picturesque fishing ports around the country.

Capt P has it! I thought that might be an easy one. Far too many visitors in Padstein, I do try and avoid in in summer now when down in Cornwall.

We're down in Kent at Sandwich.
At the heart of the Cinque Port Town of Sandwich is the 16th century Guildhall, the focal point of both ancient traditions and modern activities. The Courtroom, although no longer a court of law, remains the scene of traditional ceremonies such as Mayor Making, and is a popular wedding venue.
The Sandwich Guildhall Museum was refreshed and revitalised with a Heritage Lottery Fund grant in early 2017 and now houses a rich and varied display of exhibits, including the Sandwich Magna Carta and Charter of the Forest dating from 1300.
